Nestled in a quiet older neighborhood close to FSU and FAMU, this home is a great place for building family memories during college visits or sightseeing in our state’s capital. Comfortable beds and lots of activities from the fire pit to darts and more! Must see to believe.

Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill. Open air dining in a screened porch with ceiling fans. There’s a roomy deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee as you listen to the birds. It’s like a treehouse in the middle of a neighborhood that’s tuck away near the football stadium.

Walking distance to the stadium and College Town. Less than a mile from FSU and FAMU campuses.

Comfy pet friendly house near stadium

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home. It was perfect! The outdoor space was our favorite. The dogs loved the fenced in back yard. We loved the outdoor deck and the outdoor table and dart board. Easy walk to FSU campus. Great communication with owner. We will be renting here again in the future.

Perfect 3 BR cottage nestled in the Tallahassee trees

This home is great with a large screened porch, deck, fire pit, outdoor table, very clean and with lots of amenities. The owner is easy to work with and communicates quickly. Very close to FSU and Doak Campbell stadium. Highly recommend!

Perfect Place for family visiting FSU students

We enjoyed our stay. The place was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and lots of areas to hang out and relax. Laura was very communicative and we were so close to FSU. Great stay! I will recommend to others! Thank you!

Nice home

The house was clean and kitchen very well stocked. Great bicycling to campus and cascades park so bring your bikes. Good restaurants such as Madison Social, Bowdens, Harrys. Quiet during week but weekends the kids behind the house were partying but always quit by 11pm. Bring white noise such as fan just in case. The darts were very fun as well.

Wonderful Host with the perfect cottage close to FSU

Lauren was a great host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The cottage is close to campus and has enough space for our family to relax and unwind. The cottage was well-appointed and had everything you need for a short or long stay. We will definitely stay again!

Family weekend

We had a wonderful weekend in Tallahassee playing darts, grilling dinner and reading/napping in the sun on the deck. Lauren was an amazing host and the house had everything we needed to spend some quality time with our daughter.

Love this FSU home.

We stay here whenever we can when we visit. Close to Doak and College town, great house to hang out. Had my son and his roomates and friends over to grill out etc. Great process, lovingly cared for...5stars

Perfect location

Such a comfortable and lovely spot for our college tour. This place is so perfectly located close to both of the major colleges in a quiet street. Outdoor space was great for us to connect as a family at night. The host is communicative, welcoming and made organizing our accommodation easy.

Just Perfect!

We decided that our family needed to evacuate from Hurricane Ian. We initially had another VRBO booked in the southern part of Florida, but when the hurricane continued to turn that direction we quickly needed to change our location. I messaged Laura via the VRBO app and she was extremely quick to respond and answered all of my questions. The price was extremely reasonable (unlike other VRBOs) as this was not something we financially planned for. Laura was extremely accommodating to all of our needs. We wanted to bring our older dogs with us and she so kindly allowed them to stay with us. Now we are HUGE FSU fans but that is truly not the reason we picked Tallahassee to evacuate…it was a true bonus. The house is in a PERFECT location to Doak Campbell stadium. The house was so cute and clean and stocked with things we needed. But the best part was how incredibly comfortable the beds were! Oh my goodness! The kids (and dogs :))loved the outdoor porch area and the backyard. We ended up wanting to leave a day earlier than anticipated due to the hurricane passing sooner than expected. Laura was just so helpful and understanding to all this to happen. I would HIGHLY recommend this house!! I’m hoping we can come back and stay under better circumstances, even though we did make the best of a stressful situation. Thank you Laura for easing one part of our stress during that difficult time. You are a blessing.

Cute quaint home

The house was small but comfortable. Listing and pictures were very accurate. They left a welcome basket which was nice. Water pressure was not great but all the extras make the stay comfortable. We are heading back to the area in a couple months, wish we could stay there but the price increase is a little too much for our budget. We were looking forward to coming back disappointed we will have to check out another home in the area.

Amazing all around!

My family and I recently stayed at the "She-Shack", and a shack is most definitely is not! It's a lovely three bedroom, two bath home that has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. We wanted to be close to the FSU campus and stadium, and it was a short 8 minute walk to the football game. The home is updated inside and out, has a lovely screened in porch, a large deck with a gas grill, large yard with a fire pit, and plenty of seating in all outside areas. The owner and I were in close contact for any questions I had regarding the house and surrounding area. She was highly responsive and extremely kind. I highly recommend this property for it's location, cleanliness, amenities, and ease of working with the owner.
