RODON PIGANOUSA STUDIO with panoramic views - 5 min away from the beach
Piganousa Studio is part of Rodon apartment complex in Spilia Leros, right in the heart of Leros where you will enjoy different aspects of the views that surround the building.
Pandeli Beach and Vromolithos Beach are very close at walking distance. Platanos with its old square, bars and tavernas is also nearby, ideal for doing your groceries in the local supermarkets or have a drink and/or consume authentic Lerian food.
From your private balcony you can enjoy many different kind of aspects which represent Leros. First of course there's the wonderful panoramic view over de Aegean Sea.
At your left on your balcony there's the bay of nearby fishing village Pandeli where there's still a very active fleet of fisherman and you can certainly enjoy the traditional architecture, but most important the excellent food and the feel of old Greece.
In front of you there's a little islet with a church on top which has a story of its own. Legend says that a fisherman kept on finding a piece of wood that he ignored until one day he realized it was the icon of Agia Kyriaki and built the chapel on the islet in the Saints honour.
On the right of this islet there's another islet which is a favourite destination for the locals for its famed fishing spots. If you enjoy an urchin salad in Karaflas restaurant next door, who knows some of the ingredients may have well been caught there.
At your right on your balcony there's Vromolithos Beach. Vromolithos in modern Greek means 'the rock that stinks', perhaps that's why many Greeks raise an eyebrow when they hear the name. In truth the name is more likely from the Ancient Greek translation which describes the sounds the waves make when they hit the rocks.
Not only the views are spectacular, you're lucky to have one of the best and famous tavernas of Leros just around the corner: 'Dimitris o Karaflas'. This taverna serves fresh food every day, for lunch or for dinner for reasonable prices.

Acerca del anfitrión
Anfitrión: Ioannis Pantelidis

Hi and welcome!
My name is Ioannis born and raised in Leros but far too often abroad. No matter where I am these days Leros is still my home and therefore I go there at least once a year in order to feel the wonderful, exceptional and unique atmosphere of the island, and of course but not least to visit my beloved family who still lives there. Leros is a one of a kind island in the Aegean Sea because of its traditions, architecture, traditional food and definitely the kindness of the Lerians. I'm 100% sure that, whenever you visit Leros you'll be wanting to come back and back again! If you have plans to spend your well-earned holiday in one of our newly renovated apartments or studios, you'll be welcomed with open arms and we'll do our utmost to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
We hope to see you soon!!!
