Mike was a great communicator. 3 minutes from the Red Line into Boston in 25 mins. Very comfortable and well-equipped bedroom and kitchen. Parking right on the premises. Would stay here again.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this location and really like the apartment and mostly the location. Because it’s an older building, it’s warm and welcoming in a way more modern places aren’t. It was very clean. Because we’ve stayed here before we were familiar with the unit and how to check-in so had little about which we needed to ask Michael who is very responsive. We’re grateful for the parking space although it needs work. In all, we would stay here again.

Awesome place and close to it all.

Great place and public transportation so close by. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Boston. Gracious host and very attentive to our needs.

Great location

Great that it's so close to the train stop. We decided not to rent a car so it was perfect! Close walk to coffee shops in the morning was also a plus.

Great spot for a visit to Boston - transportation (trolley and subway) is great, clean and everything you need is onsite. Great restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Communication was great with owner.

The host was very welcoming. We were able to park free behind the house. The Mattapan trolley was close by so we were very happy to be able to get into Boston, Cambridge and Salem so easily. The apartment was well furnished, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We would stay here again.

Great property with a great host! We had an issue with the locks on the doors, & our host Michael was very understanding & made himself available to help us. If you want a place with antique charm that represents Boston, this is the place for you!

Location Location Location

Nice cozy Appt... Easy check in...the owner very nice.. perfectly clean and everything you could need...You could not find a better location for using public trans or driving a vehicle...We will be staying here every time we visit Boston.

Perfect for us

Since we were visiting a number of friends and family over Easter, the central and convenient location was the best. Also there is a long walking trail close by that we enjoyed. The property had everything we needed. We will stay there again.

Convenient to city with smaller town feel

Nice apartment convenient located near the Milton Trolley and restaurants. Overall we had great communication with owner, who was very helpful and accommodating. Due to a glitch with the rental system, we stayed in another apartment in the same building. Apartment was cozy and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We would stay definitely stay again.

Very nice.

The place was super clean and newly updated. Very new appliances. Has charming, old house feel: wood floors and radiator heating. Plenty of space for two of us. Very close to the trolley. Only minor negatives I would say are a bit noisy as it is near street and now ironing board or washer and dryer.

Thanks for the good review. I'm sorry this wasn't clear to you but there is a washer dryer in the basement. I'll try to make that clear in future listings. Getting an iron and an ironing board wasn't something we thought of but it's easily fixed and will give that a lot of thought. Thank you for your suggestions..

Throughly enjoyable stay

The apartment is quite old and has character and charm, is well equipped and everything worked well. The location is great because it is on the RedLine with easy (all be it a bit slow) access into the centre of Boston, far preferable to driving in and paying exorbitant car parking fees. The weekly pass for the transit system was about $22. Being on the south side of Boston there is also good access to Cape Cod and Rhode Island. Milton itself seems quite pleasant with some good restaurants. We didn’t meet our host Mike but did swap texts regarding access and local information, he was very quick to respond and helpful. All in all we had a great stay in Milton/Boston.

July 4th Stay

While the property from the outside looks sketchy (overgrown lanscaping) combined with theneed of a paint refresh, and an unoccupied red dleapidated building rightnext door,...the inside is perfectly great. Beautiful historic home remodeled to perfection. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe . It was nice having parking included. Subway to downtown Boston easy peasy. Drive to 1 day trips like Salem, Lexington and Concord are also easily doable. The front room can be a vit noosy due to the traffic going bu. Would definitely stay here againn.
