Located in Indianapolis' premier residential & retail area. The guest cottage is nestled within our home’s peaceful one acre garden and is only minutes from downtown and Carmel.
The 700 square foot guest cottage is a freestanding, fully independent building with private, fenced patio and dedicated parking.
THE LOCATION:
We are just 7 minutes to Broad Ripple, 15 minutes down Meridian Street to Downtown, 10 minutes to Carmel, 20 minutes to Westfield's Grand Park, 5 minutes to the 465, Monon walking & biking trail, and Whole Foods plaza with many retail & restaurant choices.

The Pink Elephant Cottage was absolutely perfect. It was a piece of paradise in a beautiful part of Indy nestled amongst a delightful garden and underneath gorgeous, old trees and just a couple minutes to 465 and Meridian. Our dog loved the back patio as well as the neighborhood, too, especially the sweet dog post with treats. Our time there was way too short, so we cannot wait to go back.

The cottage has a beautiful setting in peaceful neighborhood with old trees. You feel one with nature, in fact a deer roamed through the yard on Sunday morning. The cottage is furnished very nicely and is comfortable. Claudia was very responsive and recommended some great restaurants. We will stay here again when we are back in Indy.

Cute cottage ,lots of great cooking supplies, comfortable bed and adequate internet. Did not care for parking situation (sometimes other people parked in our designated spot) , overgrown hostas along walkway, shower is cramped and a mild snafu with check-in which was addressed.

Great place

Stayed in the area for a lacrosse tournament. This cottage was very clean and the owners are very responsive. Great stay.

Beyond Expectations

Upon arrival Steve and Claudia the owners greeted us, showed us the gorgeous grounds and cottage, and were available if we needed them. The Pink Elephant Cottage is private, clean, well organized, comfortable, nicely decorated, and has many extras in amenities that you would not expect. It was extremely hot during our stay but we were able to adjust the AC and dehumidifier to make the cottage very livable with a good night's sleep. The location is perfect in a nice neighborhood with easy access to downtown Indianapolis and the surrounding nearby towns. One of the nicest Vrbo places and experience we have had in the United States! We hope to be back in the future.

This place is absolutely AMAZING and gorgeous . You will not regret staying here. Everything you would need, they supply. My daughter absolutely loved the coffee bar. It is in a safe neighborhood but just minutes from all things Indianapolis, Zionsville, Carmel, etc. It really is in a perfect location.

Beautiful Property with sewage in shower

The host was very professional until three days into the five-night stay, when the toilet was flushed, sewage was expelled into the shower drain, the bathroom became inoperable, and the smell was overwhelming. If the host had responded immediately to the emergency and taken action, there may have been a different outcome. Hotel options were very limited because a five-state Regional Gymnastics Championship was scheduled that weekend. The host refunded less than the 2 days that the property was unable to be occupied. Better compensation should have occurred.

Charming Cottage

The property itself was fantastic. The cottage was impeccably clean and this added immensely to our peace of mind and overall enjoyment. The owners are very helpful and we appreciated their service. This cottage is a true gem – book it, you won't be disappointed!

Lovely cottage.

Charming and relaxed

This was such a perfect stay for us. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, yet close to everything we needed. Claudia and Steve were both so friendly and accommodating. The cottage is even better than expected -- they've thought of everything. It has wonderful amenities, and it's all organized and well thought out. We will definitely stay again!

Quaint cottage

Travel basketball brough my daughter and I to the area and we were fortunate enough to stay here. Steve and Claudia were gracious hosts and we found everything we needed within the cottage. Beautifully decorated, all the amenities and close to everything we needed. If our travels bring us back to the area, we will definitely look forward to enjoying this gorgeous property! A Great Litlle Cottage in a Great Neighborhood

If your heading to the Indianapolis/Carmel area, this is the place to stay. Very clean, great location. Hosts are very cordial and gave us several good locations for dinner, as well as tips for parking along the Monon Trail. Although there is no oven or stove, there is a microwave, toaster oven, small refrigerator, and icemaker. The unit includes utensils as well as anything you may need during your stay (reading light, flashlight, umbrellas, etc.) But then again, why eat in when there are plentiful locations for great food. The cottage is located in an extremely safe neighborhood, and though it is located on the hosts property, it is very private, located near the rear of a beautifully landscaped and wooded property. If we go back to Indy again, we would definitely stay here again!

A gem in a beautiful setting.

The hosts were so helpful and kind. The cottage was clean with every amenity necessary. We loved being able to have a barbecue. The neighborhood and greater area is great, with good restaurants. I wasn't able to give 5 stars all the way, though. The listing says that it’s wheelchair accessible, but there’s no way that you could get a wheelchair down that path. It is very uneven, and the grass overgrown over many of the flagstones. It would help if the grass between them could be really short. It was scary for my husband who walks with a cane, and for myself who is a little unsteady on my feet. Also there were no hold bars in the shower. Not great for older people.

Great Girls Getaway!

We were looking for a place in Indianapolis for the weekend for a girl’s trip. This was a great property for what we had in mind. We were impressed with all the details of this quaint little place. Beautiful landscape, comfortable furniture, and thoroughly cleaned. There was a time that we needed to communicate with the host during our stay, and she was available. Highly recommend!!!

Restful perfect little cottage

I needed a little place to stay and rest—the pink elephant cottage was perfect. It’s comfortable, and beautiful. Very clean, and well taken care of. The owners were very polite and responded to my messages very quickly. Can’t wait to stay here again! :)
