Once you have worn yourself out, come on back to the house and relax in the quiet seclusion of Pali Kai , no neighbors, no traffic. Lounge on the 20'x24' sundeck, off the second story master bedroom. Surrounded by 2 acres and 240 feet of waterfront, Pali Kai insulates you from our civilized world, for as long as it takes, until you can face it again.

The home had a spacious and well layed out interior for our family to enjoy each other. The views were fantastic and you were able to enjoy them from every room in the house. Outside space was wonderful from roof top patio, covered back porch area and outdoor seating in the yard. It was a great and enjoyable experience.

The house was exactly as pictured, everything was well maintained and clean. And the host was very helpful. It was a very peaceful location, with minimal noise and a property full of plant and animal life. We very much enjoyed our time here. We walked the path down to enjoy the beach area, and we saw Orcas from the patio. Thank you!!!

The property is unique as it sits on a high bank waterfront lot at the send of a steep driveway. The home itself is nicely maintained and very welcoming, roomy and plenty of large rooms with ample sleeping locations. A great deck overlooks a private unobstructed rustic view of the Hood Canal. You are totally by yourself down here, peacefull setting!

Incredible Stay!

The view is absolutely stunning and the deck above the garage is the perfect place to enjoy it. The beach is just steps away and we loved collecting oysters and exploring. The space was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The owners were so kind—they met us at check-in and gave a great tour. Can’t wait to come back!

The location far exceeded my expectations, what a marvelous place!It was nice to meet the owner at check-in and we appreciated all the tips he gave us to enjoy our stay. The house had everything we need, including beach towels, beach shoes, and kayaks. It was very hard to leave this paradise!

John and Cindy were very responsive throughout our entire experience. John met us personally at the house for check in and showed us around. The house was clean and stocked, as expected, and the pictures of the property and the amenities listed were accurate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely consider staying here again for future visits.

The cabin has a private beach access. It was very easy to find lots of large oysters during the low tide.

Perfect mini vacation for me and my family. John is a very kind host. He made sure we have everything we need for our stay. My kids enjoyed harvesting and grilling oysters, kayaking, walking along the coast during low tide and we even saw a seal. Definitely coming back.

As owners of a summer in Washington we have found that ,like everything in the northwest , if you don’t use it you lose it due to lack of use. This is why we share with others ,it gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the canal and it keeps my house intact due to being used. As a owner who meets every guest it gives me the opportunity to meet people from everywhere so no strangers ever stay there, only new friends.

Palikai is unique because it so secluded, no neighbors, no hiway noise because 101 is located away from the house. If you so choose you can spend the stay without seeing other people. The Olympic mountains are accessible in a 10 minute drive, there is a award winning seafood bar 5 miles from the house. Or just eat your own off our beach.
