Beautiful location and lots of charm. We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts was great and the cabin was perfect. My kids especially loved the loft area with games.

Excellent play to stay. I am looking forward to do it again. Peaceful, quiet and just comfortable. Great vinyl collection too. We will be back in the future. The host are excellent. Great views and close to everything Big Bear has to offer. Loved sitting on the front porch to either have a cup of coffee or have a cold beverage and look at the stars.

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very cozy and peaceful, and in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town. Would stay here again.

We LOVED our stay at Stargazer Chalet! Clean, cozy, great location! Chris and Melanie were fantastic with communicating with us and ensuring our stay was easy and comfortable. We will be back again and highly recommending to friends and family as well.

House was beautiful and clean inside our only complaint was the hot tub was to dirty to use they did say there was someone coming to clean it but it wasn’t in time for us to use. The host was very responsive to messages and to help with any questions! It was a beautiful view and we saw lots of wildlife!

Beautiful and peaceful cabin, great views, easy check-in, and great communication from Chris and Melanie. And of course, a private hot tub on the deck! If you’re looking for a place to stay in big bear, you’ve found it in the Stargazer Chalet!

The cabin was clean and spacious. All the amenities worked great and we had a wonderful time. The place was stocked with supplies for our extended stay and we were able to check in early before the storm hit.

The house was so nice with an updated kitchen and beautiful view of the big bear mountain. The jacuzzi was warm upon arrival. Everything was so cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway:)

We had a great stay at this cabin! The house itself is beautiful and was a perfect home base for our family trip. The host was very responsive and professional when we had a minor issue. Everything inside was clean and well-kept. We’d definitely stay here again!

The cabin was so cute and tastefully decorated. Absolutely loved the layout of everything, the open loft made the cabin feel spacious and cozy, great heaters and very comfy beds. Thank you for having the cabin heated when we arrived!

This cabin is perfect for a family of 4-5. The updates throughout are thoughtful and comfy. If you’re a skier - I’m not LOL - you will appreciate the views of the slopes and the walking distance. And it was just a short drive to the Big Bear Blvd. when needing to pick up some last minute groceries, etc. Chris and Melanie were wonderful hosts and quick to respond to any questions I had.

This was our second visit to the Stargazer Chalet and especially magical over Christmas!!! We love everything about this cabin from the modern yet cozy design, the upstairs kids loft, the old school record player, and of course, the convenient location. It certainly feels like a home away from home. We hope to return again in the near future!

My family and I loved our vacation. the host responded quickly to any questions I had. The cabin was very clean with a roomy, updated kitchen, comfortable beds and all the amenities you’ll need for your stay. Front deck over looks the ski resort. The rear deck overlooks trees and mountains. Rear deck has a full size bbq grill and hot tub. Great location! Minutes walk/drive to ski, a golf range, big bear lake, hiking trails and the villages where there are lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. Also rented ATVs and fishing equipment from nearby establishments.Definitely will be back.

This was a lovely place to stay for our family vacation. The chalet is in a beautiful location with great views all around and a living room view of the Bear Mountain resort. Big Bear Lake is close by with numerous options for dining and shopping. The upstairs loft is perfect for kids to play and relax. The old school video games were a huge hit with the kids (and Dad). Highly recommended!
