We rented the house for 2 nights from 8/19-8/21 and absolutely enjoyed the property. The peacefulness, beautiful skies and quiet was just what was needed. The house was well stocked and the beds very comfortable. We had a great time!

Thank you for the wonderful review! I’m so glad your two-night getaway delivered exactly what you were looking for—peace, quiet, beautiful skies, and a comfortable place to unwind. It’s also great to hear that you found the house well stocked and the beds comfortable. One of the things that makes this part of northern Pennsylvania so special is being able to escape the noise, slow down, and experience the remarkable night sky. Whether guests are coming for stargazing at Cherry Springs State Park, exploring Potter County and the PA Wilds, or simply searching for a peaceful mountain getaway, we want the house to be a place where they can truly relax. Thank you again for staying with us. We’d love to welcome you back!

This was our 2nd time visiting. It was the perfect location for our family to unwind and connect for a few days. Not to mention the incredible night skies and the feeling of total isolation. We look forward to our 3rd trip there already!

We had the best time at Chris' place. Absolutely beautiful home in a serene and quiet setting. The views of the night sky were incredible. Home itself was very clean, kitchen was stocked with most supplies you'd need. The property was well maintained and we loved the butterfly garden. The game room was also a hit! Recommend bringing a sleeping mask as the sunrise is bright in the bedrooms. We will definitely be back again!

Our 2nd visit to this property was even better than the 1st. The property had some added features, including a telescope for exploring the night sky. It’s an amazing location for peace and serenity from the busy world. The owner is obviously on the lookout to add little touches to improve the experience. We looked at all kinds of options to stay at, but our past experience brought us back here. We enjoy it so much, we are already pondering a 3rd visit.

Idyllic cabin getaway featuring an amazing coffee bar, super comfortable beds, a stellar kitchen, a super fun game room, and lots of outdoor fun in the snow. House was clean and cozy and host was communicative. Loved that our dogs were allowed. Would love to return!

Beautiful cabin

This cabin is amazing.. we hope to return in the future! We were very impressed with all of the thoughtful amenities offered, as well as the thoughtful/fun decor. The location is wonderfully secluded, but we felt close enough to the town to run errands or pop out for a day trip. Our whold family really enjoyed our stay!

Secluded Cabin perfect for a family getaway!

This lovely clean secluded cabin is perfect for a family and pet friendly getaway. The owners were wonderful and the cabin is filled with family entertainment such as games, puzzles and an upstair loft with game room We found the backyard area perfect for stargazing and relaxing at the firepit. The drive to the cabin added to the entertainment as well. Highly recommmed!

The perfect weekend

Absolutely amazing if you wanna be alone in the middle of the woods this is the place to be. We didn’t have clear nights to see all the stars but we did get to sit out on the porch and listen the wildlife and the rain drops on the metal roof. We will be coming back here again Perfect to be away from everything and reconnect

Stars, stars, stars

The property is excellent for star gazing. Nice cabin. Quiet, remote. The property owner mentioned SUV to access cabin! Absolutely necessary, the road is horribly rutted and a car will drag the under carriage. But the cabin and night sky are worth "traveling the road".

We loved our time at Moonraker 6! The owner definitely has a sense of humor, but I won't spoil it for those who've not been yet! The house was great, and the kids loved the game room. We had a blast hiking around the property. We cannot wait to go back!We had an unexpected power outage very briefly the first morning of our visit, and when I reached out to the owner, he was calm and helpful. Thankfully, the power was back on within the hour. I mention this only because I usually don't have to ever speak to the owners at vrbo rentals, but it was awesome that he made himself available to us, and was super accommodating. Awesome time. We cannot wait to go back for more stargazing!
