Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and magical place. Very secluded waterfront property with nature everywhere. Watch eagles, seals, otters, herons, and so many other creatures. Newly renovated bathroom and kitchen with a designer bertazoni induction range. Brand new traeger grill on deck. Cozy and stylish decor. Comfortable deck and firepit. 700 feet of private beach. 2 bedrooms on main floor with queen beds. One king bed on top floor accessed by spiral staircase. Pet friendly.

One large bedroom with king bed on top floor accessible with spiral staircase that may not be appropriate for guests with mobility issues or small children. Large garage with extra refrigerator and washer and dryer. As well as room for kayaks, bikes, or other toys guests may bring.

Just added hot tub 12/22/23. Barely used. Guests need to make sure covers are back on. Use at own risk but please take care of it.


I am an experienced host in Seattle. This is a new project and a new location for me and my family. I have fallen in love with the property and it is magical. There are birds, snakes, frogs, butterflies, otters, seals, just everywhere. It is quiet and secluded and we love it. It is an old house and we have cleaned it up but it is not new construction. There will be quirks. Although I am a very experienced host, I do not micromanage guests and am relatively hands off unless needed. I live in Seattle and expect guest to be somewhat self sufficient.
No pets on furniture. No smoking inside.

The waterfront aspect can't be beat- and getting to enjoy that from almost anywhere in the house or on the grounds is uniquely enjoyable, especially the sauna. Not to mention the immaculate taste the owners have in decorating the home. Furniture is both beautiful and sturdy, no longer a given in rentals. The king bed is up a spiral staircase, the other two bedrooms are easily accessible on the main floor and those have ac. Upstairs, there didn't appear to be central ac, but that's because with the windows open, even in the dead of August, it wasn't needed at all (and I like a cold room). There were newer easy to use heaters upstairs as well, I just didn't use them because it was summer. This spot is a great little retreat, and I hope I have the opportunity to come back!

Beautiful home, great value! Would gladly stay again (have stayed multiple times already) and would recommend to others! Host was responsive, kind, and accommodating -- made the entire process streamlined and a breeze. The views were stunning, and the amenities were the cherry on top for this property. Home was clean and tidy upon our arrival.

We had the best relaxing vacation! The area is quiet with only the sounds of the water. The house is well stocked and comfortable. A short drive (15-20 min) to Port Townsend proper. Kelly is a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we need. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely location, relaxing vacation !

This home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The views are excellent. We saw tons of birds, some seals and even a bald eagle. Everyone slept well, and my son reports that the hot tub was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway

We loved staying at this home. It is a peaceful setting on the water. We enjoyed watching the eagles, sea lions, herons, and seagulls. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, bowls, and baking utensils. Lots of spices too! A beautiful deck for warm spring and summer days. You will love staying at this home.

Great private mini-moon spot!

My husband and I got married on Whidbey Island and took a quick mini-moon to the peninsula, the house was on a quiet bay and we loved it. One day we hung out at the house, we took the kayaks out and sat in the hot tub, it did not disappoint! Very quiet neighborhood, it was all we could ask for. Will be booking again next time we are over there.

Lovely place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Private and quiet location. Loved the open layout of the house with great water views from the back living areas. The house is nicely decorated and has comfortable furniture, plus extra touches like having binoculars available to watch the otters and seals. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Even made use of the kayaks to get out on the water. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property

Well equiped andbwell appointed kitchen. The views are amazing. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. In fact we brought more stuff than needed to cook with. They had everything. Easy communication and one of the best places ive stayed inna long time. Mynkids had a blast and overall it was perfect

Wonderful!

Thank you Becky for an amazing stay. The house was incredible. Stocked well with basics. The Traeger had an issue but your incredible Italian Convection range and stove delivered when we had issue with the Traeger. I would stay here again for sure! The beach was incredible and the Sand Dollars were abundant! Never saw one person except some Kayakers out a bit from shore.

Weekend Getaway

We have been renting with VRBO for 20 yrs. We were looking for pet friendly house with water views for a quick mental health weekend. Found it! Place is cute, comfortable, and the host was easy to communicate with, and just had no issues. Close to downtown, but far enough away to be peaceful. Our Labrador loved the easy Beach access! Recommend highly.

Wonderful Get away

We looked last minute for a quiet get away on the coast and this property did not disappoint. Kelly was very quick to communicate and really helpful. the house is really lovely and our pup loved being by the water and watching out the window. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom stairs are not suitable for pets or elderly - which was not a problem for us, just wanted to call it out.

Amazing location. Fun and relaxing.

We loved this totally remodeled, beautifully decorated, clean and stunning on the water home. The deck for breakfast and dinner was so peaceful with hours of relaxation and long dinner conversations. During the days we walked on the private beach, hiked and biked nearby, and enjoyed the towns of Port Towsend and Port Angeles. We used the house kayaks and caught over 20 small crabs with the supplied traps. The baby weasel that enjoyed eyeing us on the rocks and the eagle eating on the piling added joy! The beds were comfortable. All the kitchen dishes and appliances were new. There was no need to buy detergent and soaps and spices. Such generous hosts. I would love to return for a long term stay. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home.

We had such a wonderful stay here. What might not be obvious when looking at this already amazing listing ((right on the water with a sauna, private beachfront, and even a a delightful yard to picnic under the cherry tree with)) is how incredible the host, Kelly, is. She was an absolute delight to work with: very communicative, kind, and responsive to every request.The home itself felt deeply nourishing. I especially appreciated the non-toxic cleaning products and refraining from using artificial scents or air fresheners, which made it feel safe and refreshing for both me and our newborn. Watching the tide move in and out just a few feet from the house was magical, and the entire setting truly feels like the water itself is part of the experience.We invited my grandparents and parents to join us, and most of our vacation was happily spent simply being together at the house- talking, resting, and enjoying timeless quality time in such a peaceful setting.As a host myself, I have high standards, and this property exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, beauty, and a genuinely thoughtful host.

Stellar retreat

This property is “on” the water. Not “steps to the beach”, not “has beach access”, this marvelous property’s deck extends right to the edge of the stone bulkhead from which you can touch the water! Views from every waterside window. Well over 700’ of private waterfront, we NEVER saw a person. If there was a dog Disneyland, this would be it. Our Labs spent many hours in the water during our stay. Host even provided dog towels! In addition, there is a large field to air and run dogs. This property has something for everyone. Top of the line appliances, including new washer/dryer. This host has clearly put a lot of thought into making the best guest visit possible. The kitchen is the most well appointed we have experienced. We were delighted to find that this place was so much more than we expected . We spent hours strolling the beach, looking at shells, drift wood and enjoying the tides. The bird life here is amazing; seagulls, swallows, ducks, geese, king fishers, herons (one heron calls the piling near the house home, it was wonderful to see him everyday) bald eagles frequent this bay, so exciting to see them doing so well. Seals and otters pop up and there is never a dull moment on the bay. If you’re looking for privacy, long strolls on the beach, 2 kayaks available, you will be overwhelmed by this property. We will definitely be back. Host Kelly was readily available, great communication, easy checkin. This home is nicely situated between Port Townsend and Sequim so exploring both towns is easy. Use common sense regarding the fire pit, if it’s windy, wait until it’s not. Wonderful getaway.
