LAKE FRONT SUNSET CABIN - Water Access!

Come watch the sunset & relax by the water!!! This lake front property has everything you need to enjoy a get away! Perfect access to watch the sunset & water access to cool off. Paddle boat & kayaks are awaiting you. Boats and jetskis are welcome - you will have to anchor there is not a dock. YET!
A perfect place for your family/friends!

The relaxing water and large open windows are the perfect place for any birthday party, family reunion, you name it! Additional guests beyond 14 people and more than 5 cars are required to be disclosed & approved before arrival. We are happy to accommodate, but do require notification and approval ahead of time.

The house is conveniently located close to a public boat ramp and 11 miles from town. There is a small grocery store and Dollar General less 1 mile away.

The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, kitchen, living room, and den with lake views.
The house comfortably sleeps 10 and has the ability with two air mattresses to sleep 14!!!

The Master Bedroom has a King sized bed. Guest Bedroom #2 has two Queen sized beds
The Den has stackable bunk beds with twin sized beds.
The Living Room has a pull out sectional that has a Queen sized bed.
There are also two Queen sized air mattresses.

WHATS INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY?
This is a fully functioning short term rental.
That being said, just about anything you would need is available to you. If you have any questions specifically, please don’t be afraid to ask! Kitchen and laundry room are fully equipped!
• Clean linens will be available upon arrival.
• TV and WiFi are available.
• There is a grill, BBQ pit, fire pit, paddle boat, & kayak available for guest use! Enjoy the fire pit by making s’mores or hotdogs along side the gorgeous lake view!

The lake view was so awesome! Just wished we had known sooner that the lake wasn’t easily accessible for kids and elderly but we still made the best of it and went other places to fish!

Amazing host and clean property. Great for entertaining with breathtaking views of the lake. The host was always accessible for questions. The complimentary coffee bar was nice while we got ready for guests to arrive. We were so impressed and would recommend this place to others. We used the fire pit to roast s’mores and the weather was perfect. We are so thankful we found this place! My daughter said it was the best birthday.

Wonderful lake cabin!

Unexpected

This property is not secluded but very private. It's well laid out and well appointed. Everything you need is there. All you need is your food and drinks. A party of 10 could stay here and not feel like they were on top of each other. Multiple seating areas in side and out. Multiple sleeping options as well

Brownwood cottage

everything was great, and the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. One suggestion: Black out curtains, or blinds for the bedrooms. That is my only suggestion! Thank you for sharing your place!

Fit our needs but...

We enjoyed our stay but we had a few slight issues with the property in general. When we first arrived, the dishes we went to use were clearly dirty and so we felt all weekend that we couldn't trust the dishes to be clean. Secondly, we were there to attend a wedding and so we didn't have intentions of using the lake and water amenities but we did walk down to the shore and the paddle boat and kayaks don't look well maintained or easily able to put in the water. I would have been disappointed if we were coming to the property to come to the lake. Thirdly, on the night of the wedding we needed to use the air mattresses that are listed and both are not in working condition. One was completely unable to be used and the other was deflated a few hours into the night. A fourth issue was that a bedroom door and a bathroom door are difficult to open/close. As previously mentioned, we were in town for a wedding and we were subsequently busy and had many people in and out of the house. There was a snag with the wedding rehearsal dinner location and as the sister in law/brother of the groom we said we could host the dinner at the property. It has a large kitchen and seems to be set up for having parties... it was a Friday night at 9 when the rehearsal ended so we had folks showing up shortly after and most everyone was gone by 10 pm. According to the instructions quiet time on Friday evening is midnight. At 9:38 pm I received a text message that said "neighbors" had notified the property manager of a lot of people and noise. I didn't see the text message until the next day and actually never responded. I felt like we were being spied on either by neighbors or the ring security system or both. It was completely unacceptable in my opinion. It wasn't anywhere near quiet time hours for a Friday night. We weren't making that much noise and we maybe had 35 people at the house. We weren't serving alcohol and aren't "party" people. I and my husband made the booking and we were being responsible for the property. If any of the guests had been being disruptive or destructive we would have asked them to leave. I shouldn't be asked to provide details about using the property in the way it's advertised to be used. Perhaps I'm wrong about that protocol but I found it to be very odd and a bit disturbing. But otherwise we had nice time, the views are beautiful and we were able to enjoy time together as a family during a special event.

This home was great for our family and traveling with our dog. The view was UNMATCHED, and we have been to many a lake cabin in Texas. I could not stop taking pictures of the sun. My kids loved the property and it had so much outdoor space for them to adventure. The fenced area up by the house was perfect for having the dog out which was a nice surprise. Beds were also so comfy that I need the same ones at home. Owner was quickly responsive with every point of contact. Thank you for a great stay!

Great multi-generational stay for the night in Brownwood

The owners were great to work with on this one night stay in Brownwood. The house had plenty of space for Grandparents through teenagers.

Sunset Cabin

Cabin was very nice and matched the description of the property. The cabin was somewhat challenging to find as many of the streets in the area are missing street signs. Thank goodness for GPS!

We got to stay here after a wedding and had an incredible time. the beds were very comfy, even the bunk beds! we were really pleased with the place. Our only problem - and nothing really you can do to get around it (lake life) - was the gnats, there's so many outside that some sneak inside but again - not much you can do about nature! We're already talking about staying here again in the summer for some lake fun!

Decent place to stay

The home was clean and had all amenities needed. I'm not sure I would call it a 'cabin'. The neighborhood isn't the cleanest but this home was the best of all around from what we could view. It is by the water but you would have to do some steep walking to get to it. It's not too far of a drive into the closest town but may be further than some would care for. It suited our needs which was a place to sleep/shower. We were only in the area for a hunting trip. The checkin process was more difficult than expected. Didn't receive the proper address to the home until I had to message to receive it right at check in time. There weren't many instructions on what was expected for dirty linens and such at check out so we just followed what is typical when we stay other places.

Great Lake view

Place was very clean. Bathrooms do not have air. On One of the beds the pillow cases had mascara on them. Beds were comfortable . The owner communicated well with us. Loved the coffee bar. Very peaceful location !!! Loved the back area with view of the lake . Thank you for a great stay !

Baby Shower trip

We arrived Friday 8-2-24 around 4:30 pm. We were a group of mature Women, ages 64 -88, We left the house to attend a dinner at Bangs and returned around 9:45pm. The lock on the front door had a low battery so we reported that and on Saturday morning, the battery was replaced. We attended a Baby Shower on Saturday afternoon and then relaxed at the house until bedtime. We enjoyed visiting and catching up in that lovely house.
