Copper Mountain offers world-class Colorado skiing/snowboarding and it is the ultimate destination for your next family getaway. This is the perfect place for families to relax, re-connect, have fun, and spend quality time with family and friends while creating new lifelong memories. Please note that Copper has announced the ski season will not begin until 11/30/20 due to social distancing concerns.
Our privately owned condo is an updated 1 Bed/1 Bath (shower) unit that is truly ski-in/ski-out. It is in the Lodge at Copper, which is located on the west side of Center Village, at the base of the mountain next to the American Flyer lift. The unit/attached porch faces the ski mountain, not other condos, parking lots or freeways! Our unit has a spacious living and dining area and is approximately 752 sq. ft which could comfortably accommodate 6 people. For the person(s) tasked with cooking, the kitchen is extremely well stocked for all your cooking needs (including: new Gotham stack master pots and pans (7/2021), dishes, crock pot, blender, toaster, a brand new Keurig K55 (pods not provided) and Mr. Coffee coffee makers, sandwich & waffle maker. Also, stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave) were just installed in late 2017. The living area includes a new (2020) queen size pull out sofa bed and recliner. Tucked away in an alcove, sits a cushioned window seat, that contains a new queen size pull out bed mattress (replaced 7/19). There is also a new mattress "topper" for either pull out bed comfort. There is a wall mounted flat screen "smart" tv in the living room along with a second, wall mounted flat screen tv (with wall mounted game ports) in the alcove area. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed (7/2021 New Beautyrest Pressure Smart Firm mattress) with a side table and lamp. This bedroom also features a wall mounted flat screen "smart" TV & dvd player. A large closet in the bedroom and armoire has plenty of room for storage. Entire condo has also been recently painted. Please view our pictures which were taken in 2020 (still shots of condo and drone footage of bldg exterior and surrounding areas) and/or take a "walk" through the condo (also in the photos section of this listing.). For the lazy mornings, take some time and enjoy the view of the snow covered forest from the luxury of your bed or living room sofa! And, when you need a breath of fresh air in the evenings, walk out onto your private balcony and watch the sun rise or set behind the snowy mountains. If you twitter or Facebook and want your friends and family to be jealous, we offer free internet (wireless provided). For your convenience, there is on site ski storage, heated parking garage and hot tub (complex tub currently closed due to Covid distancing concerns) to use during your stay. Some of the additional condo amenities include: assorted adult and child DVD's with 2 Players, HDMI channels, kids' tv plug and play games, board games & umbrella stroller for little ones. For safety, we've installed radiant heaters mounted near the ceiling thus eliminating the traditional floor baseboard heaters. Wall mounted smoke/CO2 detectors are also in the unit. Please note that there is no air conditioning in the building like most buildings at the resort. Mountain temperatures, even in summer are generally pleasant. We do provide fans for air circulation.
One note: because we are advertising our unit as pet and smoke free, both pets and smoking are NOT permitted in our unit, including any outdoor area (i.e. porch/deck) attached to our unit at any time, for any reason.
If not every member of your family is a skiing or snowboarding enthusiast, Copper Mountain has a multitude of other activities. In the winter you can snowmobile, snow tube, take a scenic sleigh ride, ice skate and much more. Do you need additional inspiration? How about s'mores, by the fire pit, near a chocolate factory (which is within walking distance from the condo). How about taking a ride on the new Rocky Mountain Coaster which just opened on Dec. 2017 (it's near the American Flyer lift which is the closet lift to our building!)? Or if you prefer summer fun, Copper Mountain has lots to do! Come try your luck with downhill bike riding or go the other way and come scale the largest outdoor climbing wall in Colorado. Do you still need convincing? Go fishing, hiking or pick up your irons and hit the resort golf course. For the kids that want to stay inside, Woodward at Copper is a year round ski and snowboard facility offering winter day and summer week-long camps. It is a must see! Regardless of your preference for fun, excitement and entertainment, Copper Mountain offers year-round activities for all ages. Consider making Copper Mountain your next recreational adventure and use our condo as your home base!
Covid 19 comments. The unit is professionally cleaned by our property management company before and after every guest stay. We are also allowing more time between guest stays to comply with Summit County requirements.
Summit County BCA-45023. Max occupancy 6. One parking pass at building allotted for the unit but overflow parking is available as dictated by Copper Mtn Lodging, our property manager, if a second parking pass is requested (please let me know if you need a second pass.).
Upon booking, I will send you a copy of the Rental Agreement along with a cover letter explaining check in/out and stay procedures. A copy of Good Neighbor Guidelines and trash disposal information will also be provided (per Summit County regulations). These executable documents will come via DOCUSIGN. The dates and prices on each Rental Agreement will be populated when I send out the contract. Please note that the prices on the contract are those that only the owner is responsible for in the event of a change, cancellation or dispute. Booking fees, taxes et al that VRBO is charging and responsible for will not be listed on the contract. For example, In the event of a cancellation, owner would refund the contract charges per the terms of the Rental Agreement and VRBO would be responsible for refunding their other charges/fees in accordance with their website rules to the guest. Emailed documents will require signature to complete the reservation. A couple of days prior to your stay, I will send out a map and directions.

My husband and I both grew up in South Texas where it does not snow. As we live for adventure, skiing is one of our passions! We have kept up with skiing almost every year since college. Upon our first visit to Copper Mountain we fell in love with the resort, the atmosphere and views. When the trip ended, we knew we would be back. It did not take a twist of the arm to get my husband and I to buy a piece of heaven from this place. Having such a central location, the condo was the perfect match for us. Copper is such a fun, family friendly place and we look forward to building memories with our kids. Come experience the adventure in Copper. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Por qué eligió esta propiedad
We are not what you call repeat vacationers. In other words, we don't generally visit the same destination resort more than once. However, after visiting Copper mountain in March of 2009, we knew that we had to come back. The resort area is family friendly, uncrowded and can be easily accessed on foot or via resort shuttles. It's an easy drive straight down I-70 from Denver. The central location also makes it an easy drive to other major towns and ski resorts if a traveler is looking for a change of scenery.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The Lodge at Copper complex is right next to the American Flyer lift so these units are truly ski in-out. No waiting for shuttle buses, driving cars or hauling ski equipment long distances before getting to the slopes. This complex is between Union Creek and Central Village so shopping, dining and ski school locations are all around us but not in this building so foot traffic and noise are minimal. Our unit is on the second floor and faces the mountain/trees not other condos or parking lots! In addition, this building is one of the furthest from I-70 so guests don't have to listen to passing interstate traffic.
