Copper Mountain, where the Skiers Ski,the Boarders Ride, and where the Golfers enjoy the highest 18 hole championship course in the nation! Come and enjoy everything Copper has to offer Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall. Our two bedroom, two bathroom unit is a 2 minute walk to the high speed Super Bee 6-person chairlift, which will carry you up 2,300 vertical feet in 8 minutes so that you can enjoy 2,500 acres of great skiing!

Copper has one of the best ski schools in the nation and terrain that is naturally divided to accommodate beginners, families with small children, and intermediate to advanced skiers and boarders. Wheeler House is located a short walk to the Copper Station Skier Services building which provides lift and lesson tickets, tubing tickets, ski rental, restaurants, live entertainment, shopping and apres-ski.

The condo is also 2 minutes away from the Copper Creek Pro Shop and sits on the 8th fairway! Wonderful biking and hiking trails and Aspen viewing are some of our favorite activities during the summer and fall. Check the Copper website for summertime concerts and festivals!

This is an outstanding value for this recently remodeled and updated unit! The condo features a king-size bed, a queen-size bunk bed, and a brand new queen hide-a-bed to accommodate your friends/family. The mattresses are brand new in both the master and guest bedroom. Comfortable furniture and skiing decor will allow you to enjoy your home away from home in the Rocky Mountains. A fully equipped kitchen will make your stay even more enjoyable. Fluffy towels, a warm fire, and a good book make this the best deal on the mountain!

Located just 90 minutes from Denver and 20 miles from Vail. If you are flying to Denver, the Colorado Mountain Express can take you from DIA to your door. We would love to have you enjoy the Copper Experience by accommodating your reservation needs!

Please note that there is a hot tub and pool available for use at the Copper Athletic Club for an additional charge. There is not a pool or hot tub at Wheeler House.

Extended Weekend Ski Trip

This condo is in a great location with just a short walk to the SuperBee lift. The unit was nicely decorated and clean, and perfect to relax in after a day of skiing. This was a great stay.

Great ski getaway

Property was as described. Great location, short walk to ski lift. Comfortable, quiet, all needed amenities. Host was easy to communicate with and check in/out process was easy and straight forward. We had a great ski weekend with family and friends.

Great condo and amazing location

This condo was perfect for our family - well-equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable for our ski weekend stay. Check-in/check-out process was seamless and the location is awesome for easy access to the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

A Second Wonderful Stay

I stayed in this same property a few years back with my children. This time went with a couple friends, and it was once again a great experience. Description and photos are accurate, location is great, kitchen has everything you need. Will definitely be back again.

Great location just steps away from Super Bee lift!

Really enjoyed Amanda's lovely condo! She made check-in easy, was quick to respond, and her condo was inviting and relaxing. Comfy beds, roomy, nice view of the towering mountains, covered garage, and an elevator to the 3rd floor really helped at the end of the ski day. We'd love to come back next year!

Spacious with great ski access

Plentiful sleeping options, fully stocked kitchen, large table, comfy couch. Skied during the day and enjoyed chillaxing in condo at night. What more can we ask for? :)

Exactly as described, great bargain

Very clean, well maintained property that is very close to the ski hill. The building is not the most modern but it is clean and close and worth the price. Our place was well maintained and clean with very comfortable beds and furniture. Overall we were very happy.

5 star stay

Great Location: Wheeler House is a two minute walk to Super Bee. Building and condo were clean, updated and kitchen well stocked. With the queen bunk beds and two baths plenty of room for a group of friends or family. We had 4 adults and didn’t feel crowded. The deck is surrounded by windows which open up so you can enjoy it in the summer or winter. Owner was very responsive and timely in communication. Will definitely be a repeat stayer and highly recommend.

Convenient and comfortable

We had a lovely stay over Easter weekend at Amanda and Brett's place. We found them extremely responsive and responsible owners, easy to communicate with, without being overbearing. Their place was extremely convenient to the East Village lifts and it was a pleasure to have covered parking and elevator access for all of our gear. Our group of 5 adults slept well (although we found the pillows to be fairly uncomfortable...a small nit to pick!), was able to cook breakfast each morning, and lounge comfortably in the evenings. We loved the automated lock so that we didn't have to juggle keys between everyone; we could all come and go as we pleased. I would highly recommend this VRBO, and, in fact, look forward to staying there again on a visit to Copper!

Fantastic Condo - Can't wait to go back!

Amanda was so quick with her responses the few times I had questions! Our family of 4 loved staying here - garage parking was great, beds were very comfortable (although the master was almost too soft, like sleeping on a feather bed). There were plenty of pots, pans, and utensils in the kitchen and plates, bowls, cups, etc - fully stocked for sure! We appreciated the spices that were available to us as well, since we had every meal in the condo. Couches were comfortable too! Condo was even stocked with boxes of tissues!! Only complaint was the people above us were really loud (like rearranging furniture for like 4 hours one night it sounded like), but that's no fault of the owner. Plenty of towels, nice linens in the bedrooms, convenient location. Would definitely recommend!

Nice place but listing a hot tub as an “amenity” is misleading

The unit was clean and cozy. Very convenient for walking to lifts! We were disappointed to see that there is not actually a pool/hot tub on site, despite the listing showing a pool/hot tub as an amenity. If you look way at the bottom of the description, it does say that the pool/hot tub is at a community center in the village and you have to pay to use it. We felt a bit mislead that the listing showed this as an amenity, when having to drive across the village and pay a fee definitely does not count as an amenity. We would have booked a different property had we known. If you don’t care about this service, it’s a nice place to stay.

Great location easy walk to Superbee lift

The good: 1. LOCATION: A few minutes walk to Superbee lift. Coming back you can turn off Skid Road run and ski back almost all the way to the condo. 2. Parking spot in garage and elevator to 3rd floor 3. Fully equipped kitchen and dining space for 6 (plus 4 more in the TV area) 4. Queen size bunks in 2nd bedroom 5. Enclosed balcony 6. Owner is responsive and easy to deal with, returned security deposit within a few days of checking out 7. Cable channels and DVD Player provided The not so good: 1. We had an issue with spare towels being soiled and wet on arrival - owner responded promptly and cleaning service arrived a day later with new towels - but they were all floormats, and not bath towels which were what we needed. Owner did her part to notify the cleaning service and instruct them to deal with it, but they weren't great - knowing the towels had issues then showing up without any clean bath towels, then leaving it at that and not returning to fully rectify, let's just say it wasn't the best attempt at customer service. 2. Slow WiFi - while we appreciated there was free wifi provided, it was S-L-O-W which if you are there to ski is not really a problem, but in the evenings when I needed to catch up on work and the kids wanted to play online games on their iphones or stream videos, it was noticeably slow. Fine for emails and casual web browsing though. 3. Bed in main bedroom sagged in the middle. Probably very minor issue for most. But for me, I didn't really sleep well on it. Overall: The good outweighs the not so good. You might not have issue with any of what bothered us. I am going to give 4 stars because I don't want to penalize the owner for things that are outside of her control (like the guy from the cleaning service who didn't really strive for excellence shall we say, and the wifi which I believe is provided throughout the building not just for this condo).

Comfort and convenience are at the top of the list for this building. A 2 minute walk to the Super Bee 6 person chairlift, the tubing hill, the golf proshop, and JJ's--one of the best restaurants on the mountain!! The heated parking garage is a HUGE benefit when arriving on a cold snowy day. We unpack everything from the car and into the elevator and are whisked up to the unit to begin a relaxing vacation!

The quiet, comfortable, cozy atmosphere of this property has always been a real plus for us. With beautiful mountain views, access to the tubing hill and the ski slopes, golf, bike paths, hiking--we just couldn't ask for a better location.
