PRIVATE Tiny Cabin+90 acres of hiking+baby goats
Take it easy at this brand new, unique and tranquil getaway with mountain views. Tucked away in the forest surrounded by mountain laurel, rhododendron and creeks, you’ll experience nature like never before.
This one bedroom cabin has a private bathroom and small kitchenette area. Enjoy relaxing on the spacious porch with custom mountain laurel railing or cooking over the fire pit. TV, microwave, mini refrigerator, induction range, wireless internet, bedding, towels, and cookware all provided.
A short 5 minute walk away (4WD by vehicle) is a secluded pavilion dining area complete with fire pit. Nearby is the path to the waterfall and connections to hiking paths.
Marion, NC is picturesque and was recently voted by Travel & Leisure magazine as the #1 area to purchase a vacation property.
Hiking and creek access on site, this property backs up to the Pisgah National Forest.
You will be immersed in nature. There are 90 acres of forest with walking or biking trails that tie into Pisgah National Forest. Feel free to hike or bike up to the covered picnic area or waterfall on the property. Native Western North Carolina 'lightning bugs' will twinkle in the summer nights as you hear the call of whippoorwills from the porch. Western North Carolina fall is a highlight of life as vibrant leaf colors take over the landscape and the crisp cool mornings and evenings provide the perfect temperature for sitting around a fire with a cup of hot coffee. Experience relaxation as you listen to the sound of rain hitting the tin roof while falling asleep in a memory foam bed in our climate controlled cabin.
To greet you as you enter the property are friendly goats and a donkey. They love to eat treats out of your hand. Treats are provided.
Hiking around the cabin is considered a moderate difficulty level. There is a trail below the cabin (stay straight after you pass through the gate). You will pass our future fish pond and if you walk up the road stay to the right and it will take you to the Pavilion area.
You can also walk to the Pavilion from the cabin by continuing straight up the hill instead of turning to the cabin. Pavilion is at top.
This wooded property does have yellow jackets and other woodland creatures so use caution. Hiking is at your own risk. Bear mace is provided in cabin.
*Driveway to cabin is a gravel road. 4WD or all wheel drive recommended. There is 2wd parking spots available with a short walk to the cabin.
