Welcome to our beautiful & peaceful cabin in the backwoods of east Tennessee! This is where fun memories can be made! It is a perfect place to accommodate 3 couples with children. We are 21 miles east of Knoxville located in the middle of Cherokee Lake & Douglas Lake, just 16 miles either direction. Pigeon Forge is a fun mountain resort just 22 miles away! We are 31 miles to Gatlinburg and 35 miles to the Great Smoky Mountains! Our cabin has a game room, a gorgeous outdoor patio deck with a fire pit & grill, and much more!

Thoughtful Details

Spacious, well-stocked, great games and books for all ages, gorgeous views, wonderful deck with comfortable seating and amenities…can’t think of a thing that’s missing. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Experience!

The house was exactly what we wanted! Very clean and nice. Perfect for a group of guys on a golf trip. The ping pong table was a wonderful surprise! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great mountain getaway

This is the perfect place for someone who is looking to get away from the hustle of the city. It’s tucked away perfectly in the country, but not too far from the nearest shopping center. The view from the deck is a great way to start the morning and the host was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. This will definitely be our choice if we come back to this area.

Extended weekend

The house has a lot to offer from everything you need but your food and drinks, to plenty of space for everyone. There were 6 of us plus our small dog. We were around 28 minutes from some great restaurants and around 35 minutes from Walmart and Sam’s Club. It was peace and we really enjoyed the deck.

Family Vacation

We had our 3 grown children with their children on this vacation. Sitting on the porch overlooking the front yard was a sight from morning to evening. Every morning we would walk down the road either way and hike the driveway. The accommodations were everything we could hope for. If you're looking for a mountain retreat not too far from the excitement of Pigeon Forge, this is the place to be. We definitely will make plans to go there again next year.

Amazing property

We loved everything about our stay. Location was close to every tourist attraction possible, but still had a beautiful Mountain View. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed which was super convenient!

Wonderful escape

It was an amazing reset tucked away from all the hustle and bustle but still driving distance to attractions and hiking trails. The outdoor space was wonderful and particularly loved that there was access to the porch from two bedrooms and the main living room. Will definitely return if in Tennessee again!

Beatiful home

I love the house because it was away from all busy city life. Location of the house was ideal being in the middle knoxville and Gaitlinburg. Extremely close to Buc-ee's. Not a lot of food places close but house had all needed to cook or grill meals. The scenery was beautiful from the large deck. The garage an awesome place to hangout at night. We definitely be staying there again. Host was amazing. Thanks again!

Perfect in every way!

This stunning home was the perfect place to celebrate our son’s graduation from UT, enjoy Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and spend some very special family time at the house hanging out, playing games, and enjoying peaceful mornings drinking coffee on the deck with gorgeous views and cool breezes. The Host is delightful and very responsive to any questions.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!

We went up to Tennessee for a family trip. Even before renting the property, I was in contact with the property manager and she was so kind and prompt at responding. We ended up renting the home and are so glad we did. The communication was phenomenal, getting in was a breeze and the house itself was wonderful. The game room was a huge hit with oir family and we also loved sitting around the outdoor fireplace. You will have zero regrets booking this property. All you need to do is pack a bag, everything else was available at the home which was so convenient. As mentioned earlier, communication was excellent and we truly felt like we were on vacation. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Doing It Right

Mountain Cabin was welcoming, tranquil and set for communing and relaxation. Fully stocked kitchen, upscale linens and towels, and, our favorite, a marvelous deck. There is also a huge variety of games for every age. Rosalind was a great communicator. This place is great for a family. I highly recommend.

Beautiful peaceful home!

This house is situated in the perfect area!!! Just outside of the chaos of Gatlinburg is this beautiful house nestled in the mountains. The game room was incredible, the kids loved playing and spent many many hours out there! The outside was amazing for playing catch, the deck was perfect for grilling, smores and watching the sunrise and sunset. The drive into town isn’t too far and we loved being able to unplug at the end of a long day here! We will definitely be back again!

Family vacation/wedding

We LOVED this house! There was plenty of room. The kids loved the game room, and the adults loved the deck with the fire table. We were traveling back and forth to Knoxville, which was a nice commute. Rosalind was great to work with. She responded quickly to questions and provided for all of our needs. I highly recommend this property!

Great Property

We were there for a Tennessee volunteer (25 minutes away) football game. Family from Ohio and Pennsylvania came down. House was a great place to hang out. Beautiful porch with a nice outdoor gas fire pit and outside an open air fire pit. Great game room. Perfect location to sit and hang out. Kitchen and grill were fantastic for cooking. I couldn’t imagine a better spot to hang out. Out in the country but close enough to go get what you need (10minutes to Buc-ees). Owners were great. Great communication. Can’t come up with a negative thing to say about the experience.

Best all around mountain cabin ever!

5.0 +rating wish I could give it more!! Beautiful, clean, best views, close in , but lots of privacy.The host thought of everything and was quick to answer and help with our needs. Tastefully decorated cabin , has everything, beds were very comfortable, well supplied, safe,and best vacation spot I’ve stayed at in a while.

Great for the Whole Family!

Great place for our family (3 teens & one preteen). Good common space, great deck, great views. My kids loved the all the games too. We would stay here again. Very relaxing.

Great Location and Nice House

We had a wonderful time staying in this house. Everything worked great and the house was very nice. The deck is beautiful and well furnished. The bedrooms do not have any dressers but there is plenty of room in the closets. Plenty of games for the whole family to enjoy. Overall a great stay

Summer getaway

We had a summer getaway here to visit Knoxville, pigeon forge, gatlinburg and Chattanooga. It was convenient to all those places. Rosalind is a terrific host and her place is immaculate!! Would stay again if we are back in that area!

Great time !

We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and has so much to do. My children loved the game room and we loved the outside patio. We grilled out almost every meal and sat outside drinking coffee and reading a book. We brought our dogs and they loved having the yard to run around in. It’s about an hour to go into pigeon forge and Gatlinburg but it’s a beautiful drive and well worth it for the location of the house.

Until then, we thought we would open it up for others to make some beautiful memories and be a blessing. This is our prayer, and we hope you may be able to enjoy it as well with your family and friends.

This property is what country music songs are all about!! This spacious home is perched up on a 5-acre hill with beautiful mountain views. You can wake up to the most beautiful sunrises Tennesse is known for! Our home is comfortable, fun, with lots of games and amenities to make you feel right at home. Our kitchen is stocked with everything needed to make some good homecooked meals to make everyone's tummies happy.

The gorgeous mountain views are what makes this home are dream home! Our outside deck with a firepit and plenty of outdoor couches to sit on is what makes this home special. You can sip on your coffee in the morning and watch the gorgeous sunrise! We have a grill to make some good food too. There are 3 doors from the main home where you can gain access to the deck. Two of the doors are from the bedrooms. We have a variety of games for all ages to keep everyone competitive and entertained. There will never be a dull moment in this home!
