WELCOME TO SAM'S PLACE

Welcome to Sam’s Place, a custom-built 6-bedroom retreat located inside the gated Massanutten Resort! Designed with families and groups in mind, this home combines comfortable, upscale furnishings with plenty of entertainment, space, and privacy.

Located on a quiet street with a private lot, Sam’s Place offers a peaceful setting while keeping you just minutes from all the resort activities. The flat driveway and ample parking make arrival easy, even for larger groups traveling with multiple vehicles.

Inside, the fun continues with an arcade, games room, dedicated movie room, and hot tub- giving everyone plenty to do after a day of exploring the mountains. Gather around for a family game night, challenge each other in the arcade, enjoy a movie together, or unwind in the hot tub.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

Sam’s Place features 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, providing plenty of space for families and groups.

• Primary Suite: King bed with en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 2: King bed
• Bedroom 3: Queen bed
• Bedroom 4: Two bunk beds with a trundle
• Bedroom 5: Twin bed with a trundle
• Bedroom 6: Queen bed

The king and queen bedrooms share a full bathroom, while the downstairs bedrooms provide additional sleeping space for families and groups.

KITCHEN & LAUNDRY

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve delicious home-cooked meals. Coffee lovers will appreciate having both a Keurig and French Press available.

We provide all linens, towels, and washcloths, along with dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, paper towels, and toilet paper for your convenience.

A full laundry room with washer and dryer is also available for guest use.

DOG-FRIENDLY

Our home is dog-friendly and lovingly named after our Golden Retriever, Samson! We provide dog bowls, treats, and a dedicated spot to hang your leash.

Please add pets to your reservation. A $100 pet cleaning fee applies.

TRAVELING WITH A LARGER GROUP?

Traveling with friends or family? Check out Duke’s Place, our 3-bedroom home located right next door. It’s a great option for larger groups who want to stay close while still having their own space.

Past guests or guests looking for a 3–4 bedroom option are welcome to reach out to us for a custom quote.

MASSANUTTEN RESORT

Sam’s Place is located inside the gated Massanutten Resort, putting you close to endless mountain adventures.

Depending on the season, enjoy skiing, two golf courses, a water park, mountain biking, ziplining, mini-golf, go-karts, fishing, scenic parks, and more—all just a couple of miles from the home.

For the outdoor pool, the house has a pool pass that allows guests to access the pool for $6 per person.

Please note: The resort charges a $200 fee for a lost pool pass. We ask guests to keep the pass in a safe place during their stay and return it to the binder before checkout to avoid this charge.

EXPLORE THE SURROUNDING AREA

There’s plenty to explore beyond Massanutten Resort.

Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are approximately 15 miles away, with fantastic restaurants, museums, shops, and local attractions.

The nearest Shenandoah River access is about 10 miles from the home and is perfect for tubing and kayaking during the summer.

The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is approximately 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking trails and beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain scenery.

Local wineries and breweries are also just a short drive away, making it easy to spend a relaxing afternoon exploring the Shenandoah Valley.
