Spacious Log Cabin in community with Lake and River Access.

Come and make some lasting memories at our beautiful log home. The cabin is located behind the private gates of Riverbend at Lake Lure. The amenities here include a lake, private beach, nature walk, swimming hole, waterfall, pavilion and grilling. This spacious home includes 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an outdoor firepit, relaxing back deck and more!
The main floor features a spacious living room with a wall of windows. Step outside onto the beautiful wrap-around deck to enjoy the piece and quiet and roast marshmallows over the gas fire pit, or relax in one of the rockers with a good book. The main level also has 2 bedrooms with a two full bath, a pull-out queen sofa downstairs. Downstairs you will find another living area as well as two bedrooms. One bedroom with two queen beds and another bedroom with a twin bunk bed. This home is 7 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 8 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 14.9 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC)
Pack your clothes, pick up some groceries (an Ingles Market is just minutes away), and then sit back, relax and enjoy all Lake Lure/Chimney Rock, Riverbend, and the Forever Home have to offer. If you stay once, we are confident you will return again and again for the beauty, comfort, hospitality, and enjoyment. We hope to see you soon and look forward to you being our guest!

Cabin review

We booked this cabin as a last vacation before summer ended! We had a fairly large group and the cabin was plenty big and spacious enough for us all to fit comfortably. Five stars on that aspect! Unfortunately, there was a problem with the water during our stay and with a group of people and children- water use is VERY important. If one person flushed the toilet all other water stopped working for a 10-15 minute time span. This included sinks for washing hands, washing dishes, flushing toilets, taking a shower/bath. We reached out to the hosts and they responded that it would get fixed but it didn’t in the time we were there (parts were said to be ordered and repaired before our stay ended), and we ended up leaving a day early because of the issue not being resolved. The location: wonderful- one of our favorite places to visit! Not having any water: very hard to enjoy the trip.

Very private roomy and we’ll equipped home. Lots of space for families with a mix of ages so everyone can do thier own thing.

Be careful

The pictures make you think that Lake and River are close enough to walk to; when actually it’s a car ride and canoes are not lakeside as pictured. The property manager was very nice at booking but after we arrived it was a different story. He said he would reach out to the owner with our complaints; however, he just chose to be belligerent instead. I feel that an intervention with the owner could have given a much better result for everyone; which finally did happen several days into our stay. The house is lovely and the owner was responsive once we insisted that the property manager reach out to them. The 2 star review is totally a reflection of the property manager and I will be sure never to book a property with that manager again. Be careful of beautiful pictures that state where property is located…. It can be several miles away.

Wonderful house!

The house was perfect for us with two main floor bedrooms for us and our son and his wife and two on the lower level for our grandkids. The outdoor deck space had plenty of seating and the house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The gravel roads up were a little challenging and the private beach lovely but further than expected. We had a wonderful family week and made some great memories!
