Full kitchen & Fireplace. (30) min to Lake Lure, (45) min. to Asheville for night life and history or antiquing in Landrum or Tryon. 4 Wineries within 8 miles. Build your own fire down by the river
Or sit on the deck while listening to the flowing river just a few feet away, enjoy the birds and wildlife. You can grill out on our deck and eat dinner "Al Fresco". We welcome you to stay at "The River's Edge".Please no kids under the age of 8.

Amazing space - clean, comfy, relaxing and so close to TEIC. Our only regret was we were so busy at Tryon that we didn’t get to fully soak up all this property has to offer - except we did get to see the tiniest fawn ever as we left one morning at 6am :). Definitely a rebook for us.

Great place for a weekend stay

We had a great stay. It is a beautiful location on the Green River. The place was clean and quiet and peaceful We will definitely return.

Girls weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 21st bday

Beautiful surroundings and very tastefully decorated. This is the best premier VRBO out of the 7 we have stayed at this summer. Many extras , clean, and friendly but not intrusive hosts. A nice retreat from a day at the stables.

This was our second stay at this property. Great atmosphere, comfortable, everything you need. Priced well. To date this is my favorite property I have visited while traveling in the Carolinas.

Comfortable and beautifully furnished

We enjoyed everything about this rental and location. The owners were friendly and helpful. We love nature and tranquillity so we found the right place. Lots of outdoor space to absorb the Beautiful surroundings. An abundance of deer strolling around the area. Always a gift.

Weekend with family

Our stay at Susie’s home was fantastic! The place was immaculate, cozy and with a wonderful view! We were here for a horse show and I told everyone I knew about it! Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely spot; well appointed

We were here for a horse show and did not have time to enjoy any of the many outdoor amenities offered by this host. We found the place well appointed, clean and relaxing. Very convenient to the horse complex.

Relaxing Getaway

We had an amazing weekend. The view was so peaceful. The cabin was extremely clean. Lots of extra amenities were provided. Beds were comfy. Close to our event at TIEC. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. We hope to return in the future.

My husband and I moved to NC in 2006 after being born and raised in South Florida. We wanted to slow down the pace and enjoy a personally built log home in the foothills of NC. We always wanted to live on the water and we lucked out with 250 ft of river. Though we have a slower pace there is action in every direction if we choose

Brand new built level with new appliances laced with antique furniture. Sooooooo very romantic with beautiful colors in every room. I love artwork and I personally drew the black forest on the wall with creatures of the forest by a waterfall done in 3D. Light the fireplace for perfect ambiance to sit and do whatever you like, i.e. play board games, watch TV, dine on your favorite food or just cuddle up with your sweetie.
