Lost Lake Love Shack, a great place to make memories with friends & family!

LOST LAKE LOVE SHACK is a great place to have fun and make memories with friends and family! The cabin is small but very cozy and well appointed. When staying here, it is all about the view and the clean, deep lake where you can swim, boat, ski, tube, jet ski and fish year round. Lost lake is known as one of the best bass and trout fishing lakes in western Washington and is stocked regularly by fish and wildlife. There is even a fishing derby every year where if your fish has a blue tag, you win a prize! There are kayaks, a sup board, a dingy and a pedal boat provided for your use. The cabin comes with a dock where you can park your own boat or hang out on the padded lounge chairs. The dock is shared with the lot next door.

The love shack is a great home base for exploring the Olympics and surrounding area!

The house is well stocked with everything you will need from linens and blankets, to pots and pans to a Keurig coffee maker. We also have a great library selection, DVDs, quite a few board games and puzzles for your entertainment. There is a large smart TV for movie nights and of course wifi. Please be aware, the two queen beds are located up a VERY steep set of stairs that some people may not be comfortable going up and down. However, there is a bunk bed and a very cozy couch located on the main floor.

Labor Day getaway

You'll love the Love-Shack

You'll love staying here, we only stayed for a night as we were passing through on a hiking road trip. The property was so nicely kept and had more fun things to do than any vrbo we've stayed at before. We wish we had set up our trip to be able to spend more time here, it was so serene out the lake!

Everything was very comfortable and clean, and the cabin was very well equipped. Just out the back door you have an incredible view of the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Father’s Day weekend getaway

Lost Lake Love Shack had everything we needed for the perfect weekend away. The view from the cabin was unreal. Despite the rain, we had the best time fishing from the doc, roaring s’mores and playing board games with the fam!

Relaxing

The Love Shack on Lost Lake was a blast. Everyone that we talked to was so very nice and the view is great. The Love Shack was very cozy and a great place to just relax and unwind. It was great to spend our vacation here with our family.

Wonderful stay!

Our hostess Lisa was amazing, you couldn’t ask for a more fantastic hostess. The love shack was appointed with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there was tons of entertainment. Having coffee on the deck in the morning was amazing… and we even had a furry friend come to visit and gave cuddles.:) overall a wonderful stay!

So much fun at the lake!

The kids loved the lake! There was so much to do with the peddle boat, paddle board and the diving board was my daughter's favorite part. The little touches like chocolates on the pillows and the doggie bed with treats was very thoughtful. We had a great time and we are already talking about coming back again next year. Thank you for letting us stay at your place!

Ladies Getaway

The Lost Lake Love shack was perfect for our group of 5 ladies. We really enjoyed the scenery of the lake and how quiet it was. The private dock was very nice for lounging while reading a book or sipping wine. The fire pit table on the porch is a cozy way to enjoy a meal as you gaze out on the lake. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and she was very accommodating. I loved all the thoughtful extra touches, from the chocolates left by the bed to the S”Mores kit for our group to use! We would definitely stay here again.

Lost Lake Love Shack

The lake was great and having the water equipment onsite was perfect. It made it so much easier to get up and go for our stay at the lake and not needing to packup large equipment or rent it. The house was very accommodating with all the supplies and equipment inside and outside.

Cozy getaway

Very happy with our visit to the lake. Not fancy, but clean and cozy. Internet and television service is iffy, but otherwise, a relaxing week.

Family Getaway

The Lost Lake love shack was paradise found. The cabin was fully equipped for everything our family of 4 needed. The dock and use of kayaks and pedal boat was the most memorable part of our trip. Lisa was a fantastic host. We look forward to coming back next year!

Perfect family getaway

Everything you will ever need for lake life experience is provided by the host. The house is clean and big enough for small family. They have plenty of entertainment to make kids get away from their gadgets for sometime. Lots of memories to cherish...can't wait to come back next year.

We had a wonderful time staying at Lost Lake Love Shack. The cabin had everything we could possibly need for our visit. We also appreciate their welcoming our dogs for providing water/meal bowls, a treat, and comfy bedding for them to use. Panoramic lake views from the cabin was breathtaking. We prepared our meals in the nicely equipped kitchen and have the best views while dining. We also enjoyed our time at their private dock with all the necessary water activities equipment available for us to use. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock every day. The owner, Lisa, was very helpful and easy to communicate with and always promptly responded with my inquiries thoroughly. Thank you so much!

Cozy lake weekend

The cabin is small, but makes a good use of the space. Comfy couches, well stocked kitchen, and great lake access (with quite a few stairs to get to the dock). Very dog friendly with a nice bed, bowls, and treats for our pup (though not fenced, and neighbors on both sides had dogs, so we were glad to have our extra tether/lead with us). We stayed as a group of 4 adults, which seemed just right - I do think it would have been a bit cramped if there were more of us. Lisa was communicative throughout.

Perfect Lake Day

The little love shack is very cute and has the right amenities for a lake weekend. We brought our two dogs and they loved the dock. The dock is really nice and sturdy - it could definitely use some fishing pole holders! Everything felt really neat and pretty clean. We cooked all our meals in the house and the retro oven/range worked great! All of our food fit in the fridge for the weekend. They left thoughtful touches around the place to recognize me booking it for my anniversary weekend! Everything worked, including the wall AC unit near the kitchen which kicked butt! Relaxing Getaway

We loved our stay at the Lost Lake Love Shack! The place was small but perfect for a few days away for our group of four. The house was very clean and organized and there were lots of special touches to make our group and dog feel welcome. We had the best time relaxing on the dock and playing with all of the provided kayaks, paddle boat and splash pad. What a fantastic spot! My one tip would be to bring extra drinking water as the filter pitcher they provided was very slow and our group tended to run out of water frequently. (I’m pretty sure you could drink the tap water too but we preferred the filtered.). That wasn’t enough of an issue for us to impact our great stay. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we hope to stay again next year!

Great fishing spot

We had a great time, booked it last minute just for a night to get away to fish. The house was well appointed and communication was wonderful with Lisa. There was a snack bowl left, beds and treats for the dogs and mints on all the pillows. There are quite a few stairs down to the water but that was no issue for us. We caught a few rainbow trout and had a blast. We will definitely stay again in the Summer. The loft upstairs with the queen beds does have pretty steep steps, almost like a ladder so be careful going up! Great little cabin type house and the neighbors on either side were super friendly also. :) Thanks Lisa for letting us rent your place.

Loved the Love Shack!

This cozy and clean cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay (other than bringing food, clothes, and personal toiletries-but they even supplied cotton balls & Qtips!). The beds had pillow-toppers on the mattresses & were so comfy after a fun-filled day outside. We thoroughly enjoyed the views, the dock, fishing, pedal-boating, the bald eagles, beautiful scenery, woodsey walks, and the cabin. There were plenty of chairs for our outdoor dining (you can eat inside, but we preferred to be outside), and evening fire pit and stargazing. Our little dog was welcomed with bedding, dog bowls & dog treats awaiting her (totally unexpected!). Our Host was so thoughtful and kind. She thought of everything people might need during a stay and supplied it. We want to book again in the future!

The Lost Lake Love Shack is nestled in the woods on one of the most pristine lakes around. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. With Shelton only 10 miles away it is close enough to town for a quick trip for amenities, yet far away enough to feel like you are away from it all!
