Love nature & trees? Forget your worries and enjoy the serene setting of your own private place. Chemical free-Only green nontoxic, cleaning products used here. This is not a tract house, rather a large 2700 sq foot home nestled in the trees. 🌳Off the beaten path yet only 5 mins to the quaint, historic downtown Belton, 6 mins to Belton Expo center or UMHB , and 20 minutes to Belton Lake! Newly upgraded floors, kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. Two master bedrooms to choose from plus 3 full baths and two other bedrooms, a living room, den and an outdoor wood deck to enjoy the oaks.
Enjoy waking up to a variety of birds chirping as you sip your morning coffee on the outdoor deck under the trees. Evening wine & appetizers out on the deck is relaxing too!

Perfect Retreat Spot

We always love holding our writers retreat at this true hidden gem. Plenty of space to share and plenty of space to be alone. Enjoyed our perfect view of the full moon over the beautiful trees this time. We'll come back if we can!

Wonderful!

We enjoyed staying at the hidden gem so much. Very spacious and homey! Our group was very comfortable! We enjoyed seeing the deer and wildlife. We also loved how close it was to town but felt like you were in the country. Great stay. Would highly recommend. Communication with host was great.

Hidden Gem was perfect for our annual all-girl college friends’ reunion. The setting is lovely and serene. The house layout has a large central area for congregating with bedrooms tucked away for added privacy. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is spacious for meal prep. We enjoyed the extra large dining table for 8 for lively meals and games. A nice feature was the outside seating area on the deck. The back of the property features a trail leading down to a creek which provided a good opportunity for a hike. We did encounter one issue which could not be immediately resolved, but the host was responsive and provided an acceptable work around.

Close to Downtown Belton

Great little property tucked away in a nice wooded area. Waze navigation took me to the wrong spot when arriving, but found it quickly after that. Access to downtown Belton was very quick. It's actually situated in a very good spot. House was very clean and cozy. Updated nicely. I would definitely stay there again.

Wooded escape minutes from the city

Our family enjoyed the location and layout of the house. Perfect for relaxing with family or working remotely. Lots of space and everything we needed for a great, long weekend! Short drive to downtown Belton for restaurants, shopping and more!

Spacious and well-appointed!

Our family was in town for an event in Salado. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and one pre-teen (and 2 dogs) to be very comfortable. The home is stocked with everything you need, very clean, and Michele is responsive and helpful. One small piece of advice - if you plan to work from the house or be on multiple devices, bring an additional hotspot. But I recommend getting out and about - the property has plenty to explore and Belton/Salado/Temple have lots to do. Thanks for sharing your home!

TUCKED AWAY

The property was just right for our girls weekend..........with 6 of us, we had plenty of space to spend time around the lovely table sharing good food and great conversation, and then move to the living area where we could relax on the comfy sectional..........sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and not at all crowded............even with 6 of us moving through the kitchen at the same time, we weren't tripping over each other...............the property was very clean, and the views out of the windows made you forget that you weren't farther out into the country. We would definitely stay there again.

Son’s wedding

This was perfect for us. We had six people from both sides of the family. The house had plenty of space for privacy plus lots of common areas to gather. We got a lot of use out of the kitchen making cookies for the rehearsal dinner. Perfect location for everywhere we needed to go in Belton. Very nice to have the acreage because we ended up with my son’s dog and loved the room to run.

Perfect retreat for our writers group

We have stayed at this house twice and it has been a great experience both times.

We were in town for a cow show with kids and grandkids. Have stayed in this house the last two years and it is perfect for us and close to the expo. Michele is great about keeping in touch and responding to every question.
