Our stay was incredible! The hosts, Marianne and Larry were awesome! Cabin was ultra clean and cozy! Forest/mountain views were specatular!

We enjoyed this cozy and very clean cabin near Telluride. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating to any need. If you enjoy being off the grid in quiet nature, this cabin is for you! Night sky viewing was amazing too! Thanks for the lovely stay!

An amazing stay in a beautiful location. Cabin was absolutely perfect, from the great central location to all the beautiful towns in the San Juans to the peacefulness of the property it self you couldn’t ask for more! We will definitely be back next year, probably more than once ;)

This place was the perfect little get away. It was close to Ouray, Ridgeway and Telluride. The host was super friendly and made sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed chatting on the host front porch. There were lots of wildlife while sitting outside the cabin deck.

There aren't enough words to describe how much we loved this property, the owners, the cabin, location and again the owners and Dakota. We truly had the most amazing experience here and made some life long memories together as a married empty nesters ! The location is perfect for Ouray, Telluride, Ridgway and access is amazing. Again the owners are the sweetest people ever and we will definitely be back in the next couple years the see all the beautiful aspens in the fall ! Don't pass this one up you will definitely regret it if you do !

We loved everything about the Bunkhouse. It was so simplistic but had everything we needed. They made cleaver use of the space so that it was very comfortable and homey . So many thoughtful details; such as binoculars for birdwatching on the beautiful deck, umbrellas, a True Grit DVD, and rags to clean up the dog. There is a binder that has really great information regarding your stay. The hosts Marianne and Larry were so welcoming and helpful. Marianne gave us great restaurant recommendations in Ridgeway and Ouray. The location is secluded but still an easy drive to great destinations. We will definitely stay here again. I can’t wait to get back to the San Juan Mountains!

We had an amazing time at the Bunkhouse! Cozy fires, breakfast and dinner on the deck overlooking the mountain, warm welcome by the hosts - and that does not really capture the magic of this place!

The absolute best and most beautiful place to stay. It was clean, cozy and perfect for a mountain retreat weekend. The hosts are so kind and friendly that I will book here for every trip in Telluride. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

The cabin was great! Beautiful drive in, and the dogs loved romping in the outdoors. Plus, the hosts were incredibly gracious and welcoming. They even stayed up with the lights on when we were getting in late our first night!

The Bunkhouse is a hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough. It’s scenic, serene, and the perfect place to stay in between Telluride and Ouray. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful with the fall foliage, and right off the Last Dollar Road, which has some of the best fall colors. I loved my stay at this cozy cabin, and plan on coming back!
