As you approach this cozy bungalow retreat you will see a spacious front yard with lots of room for activities with a large porch to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or hot tea. This bungalow retreat has one bedroom but can sleep four with a sleeper .A walk in shower and washer and dryer to use at your convince. Nice quiet area conveniently close to shops ,different places to eat, and very close to our famous Wesley Chapel lagoon .
Come enjoy and relax and make this your home away from home.

Nice and simple

Enjoyed our stay. The place is small but cozy and is very clean with all needed amenities. Only suggestion is to make the bed higher than it is. Great communication with owner and will stay again!

Bed problems

Mostly good but bed was only 6 inches off the floor, very difficult to gdt out of for old people. A queen bed withbox spring and a mattress would be good there.

Quiet little retreat.

The place is adorable and clean. Tucked away with some privacy. Property manager was available and accommodating when ever we messaged. Definitely will stay again.

Pretty Good Value

Overall the review seem to be on par with the experience. It's a quant and simple stay -- nothing fancy, and is a great value. There was just a small break down in communication to get checked in but we're happy to confirm that there were no issues with appliances or facilities. The only issue we had is that the pillows were pretty flat. Otherwise, we'd likely book again when we need to come back. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

Top of bed 12 in off floor sheets and towels dirty upon arrival. No garbage bags ceilings are very low

Poor communication

I got very sick and had to cancel. It was after the cancel date so I asked is I could get a partial refund. I contacted VRBO and I called the owner. I never heard from anyone and I will not use your company again!

Spotless, up-to-date cottage

This Florida cottage was spacious, well equipped, very reasonably priced, and the remodel made it quite up to date. Bedroom had a peaceful, Zen feeling to it. Neighbors were far enough away so the property provides plenty of quiet and privacy. The property manager was super responsive, too. We'd definitely stay there again if we go back to Zephyrhills.

It was fine

I booked this instead of a hotel for 2 nights because I wanted a kitchen. The place was clean except the fridge had a stale smell and the ice maker didn’t work. During the day there was construction, which was noisy and one of the access roads was blocked off. That’s not the owner’s fault but it’s information for anyone booking now. Note that you have to take out the trash and strip the beds or risk losing your deposit. My opinion on this is that is what the cleaning fee is for. Staying here is more expensive than a hotel yet I have to do more. But I didn’t deduct points for that since I’ve stayed at other VRBOs that ask the same. I like to know that ahead of time though because it does make a difference to me. Overall it was quiet at night and has lots of parking as advertised.

Just not a great VRBO

I’ll start with the good. The neighborhood is quiet. The house was cleaned well. The manager replies quickly to issues. Lots of cookware. Now informational things Not in an area with sidewalks so not very walkable. Grocery store is walkable distance though. This house is actually a trailer that someone added a bedroom / living room to years ago and ceiling height in the kitchen is only about 6’. Overall, it’s old and poorly done construction. The bad things now. When we arrived, despite the bed being cutely made up, there was no top sheet and none anywhere in the house. Just bottom sheet and blanket. He overnighted some to us along with clothes hangers that we also didn’t have. But how does that happen? There was a major plumbing issue with the grey water. Had to have been an issue for years. I let him know what I saw to prevent major damage to the house. it’s related to how it’s been plumbed since the 1960s and never should have passed inspection. Wish now I hadn’t notified him as 2 different plumbing contractors came to work on it on 2 different days. We work remotely and were working and managing contractors at a rental. It says it sleeps 5? How? The couch frame is bent badly and couch is uncomfortable. We pulled out the sofa bed to see if we could fix it and that frame is what’s bent - glad we didn’t need to use it. The main bed has an enormous dent in it that makes sleep uncomfortable. Not a good value overall. This needs lots of fixes to be a decent VRBO.

The location is average. Within 10-15mins day to day shopping. Some items in the accommodation appear worn and should be replaced. Nice to have the washer and dryer. The kitchen area was probably the best part. Well stocked.

Better than the local hotels

House was clean & met most expectations. Quality of interior finishes was poor, cheap, not properly done. But, if that stuff doesn't bother you, the house looks good from a distance. Windows difficult to operate & blinds damaged. Kitchen amenities all worked well, the gas stove was awesome. Ceiling very short & could be problem for anyone 6' 6" or taller. Bed was comfortable but low to the ground, not a problem for myself, but could be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Shower and bathroom sink drained VERY slow, you can't get a full shower without it overflowing - I notified the owner during my stay so maybe this will get resolved. Owner was difficult to contact leading up to the stay. I had to contact Vrbo and then the owner finally reached out via email. However, the owner was pleasant and easy to work with after that initial contact.House is cheap, nothing fancy about it. But it functions and you'll get a whole lot more room than you would at a hotel. It's on the outskirts of the town-proper, so you'll want a car to get to the stores or to local restaurants/businesses. Overall, besides the shower situation, it was a decent stay and worth the money.

Met our needs

We were in town for the weekend and travel with our pet. Nice comfy space for a short stay. Kitchen was well-stocked.

Pros and Cons about this location

Place was very clean. Had trouble gaining access and host would not return phone calls and had to call Vrbo for assistance. Vrbo was great! Pros - very clean, quiet neighborhood, good price. Cons - only 2 bath towels, no top sheets for bed only fitted sheets, but bed very comfortable, could not use ceiling fan in living room due to it makes a very loud noise when in operation, floor plan not senior friendly due to step up to kitchen, step down into bedroom - not all one level which should be noted in description for seniors. Received email from host that he would be able to accommodate our early check-in but check in was 3:00 and after, we were not there until around 5:00 or after, what early check-in? Host only replies if he does by internet. We did not have access to internet at this location until we had to go to nearby grocery store and use their internet. Host would not reply to any phone calls or texts. Would not stay here again.

House of flies

House was full of fruit flies, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Bed had no Box spring and very low to the ground. Couch bad no support.

Cozy place

We enjoyed our 2 nights here. The home was extremely clean ! Plenty of space for parking , and nice clean yard . Cozy bed , nice sectional sofa . We didn’t cook but there were plenty of cookware essentials if you need to . Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again if in this area.

Safe haven from the storm

I needed a place to stay with my 2 dogs during the storm. The owners were exceptionally helpful with the booking process and promptly answered questions as I also needed to work. The cottage was clean, tastefully decorated and a well stocked kitchen that more than met my expectations. The large yard was so nice for the dogs to run a bit. I will definitely stay here again!!
