POOL SEASON IS FROM APRIL TO THANKSGIVING. POOL HEATER IS TURNED ON ONCE TEMPERATURES ARE CONSISTENTLY 60 DEGREES AND UP.

"CJ's Hideaway" is a beautiful, six bedroom, vacation rental with a large, private, heated pool and is located in the popular Old Nags Head Place neighborhood. Filled with coastal ambiance, the comfortable and inviting décor and furnishings will bring you back again and again. The den on the ground level is the place to relax and perhaps have a family movie night. There are two back yards for the kids to enjoy. One yard can hold the family dog and everyone will enjoy the private pool surrounded by the second lawn. Corn hole boards provided.

“CJ's Hideaway" is located conveniently in Nags Head almost across the street from Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Walk to the beach either through the community walkway or take Hollowell Street. Just a short drive to pier fishing, shopping, hang gliding, or climbing Jockey’s Ridge, this location is great for families on the go! The quiet neighborhood streets give you miles to run, walk or stroll.

We came for our family vacation. There were 8 adults and 4 children. We had more than enough space but it was just the right size to enjoy each other. We loved the size of the pool and host was very responsive when I had questions. Very short and convenient walk to the beach and close to everything. Would highly recommend this for a family or large group.

Cozy Beach Getaway

Cozy and well accommodated. The heated pool and hot tub are wonderful. The location is great for beach access and eatery’s. Also the host is very responsive. Excellent stay overall.

The property is nice, however it is not disclosed that it is right next to highway 12, and extremely noisy. The grill has not only seen better days, but is actually falling apart, and probably shouldn't be used. other than that the place is very nice

Thank you for your feedback, and we're glad to hear that you found the property to be very nice overall. We're sorry that the road noise impacted your stay. While the home is located near Route 12, many guests have found the noise to be minimal, and we do provide several box fans throughout the house that can be used to create white noise for sleeping. In fact, I personally stayed at the property with my family just last week and did not experience any issues sleeping, but we certainly understand that noise sensitivity can vary from person to person. We also appreciate you bringing the condition of the grill to our attention. I cleaned and used the grill myself during my stay last week and found it to be functioning properly. That said, your comments are important to us, and I will have someone inspect it right away. If it is determined that the grill is nearing the end of its service life, we will gladly replace it. Thank you again for your review and for helping us identify areas where we can improve the guest experience. We appreciate your stay and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

We so enjoyed our stay especially having a heated pool and hot tub for relaxing times

Our stay went very well and hopefully we will have an opportunity to experience the area again. We walked to the beach multiple times, groceries were close, the wedding was spectacular. All good.

So much fun!!!

We had a blast here! Walking distance to the beach and our favorite frozen yogurt shop. Enough room for everyone to have their own space. Everyone enjoyed their stay. We will most definitely book here again!!

Relax and unwind

This is a great property close to the beach and main highway. The property was well stocked and the layout was convenient for my family giving everyone their own space. The pool was great on the days the beach was a little rough. The host was responsive and quickly answered the questions we had. We would definitely come back to this property!

Fishing Trip

Amazing location centrally located to many of the bars and restaurants in the area. Comfortable beds plenty of living space. Be careful with the Poker Set, it does not lock and at first use, you may spill the chips everywhere. All in all, great house with accommodating hosts.

Great vacation at the ocean

Everything was great. Having five bathrooms was such a treat for our big family! The neighborhood was ideal, and we enjoyed our vacation very much. A set of a broom and a dust pan for the kitchen would be helpful. I hope you will consider providing one.

Great House and Location!

The house, pool and hot tub were all in top shape! Great location, about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was very clean and the communication with the property manager was excellent. The only problem I had was that both yards were not in very good shape at all, I did not feel very comfortable letting my dog out as the grass is sparse and there were a lot of ant hills.

So glad you enjoyed your stay, thank you! We’re surprised, we’ve never seen anthills, thanks for letting us know. Our dogs love the rare big fenced back yards with shade (but we had our yard guy take a look to make sure!) We’ve owned this cottage less than a year and invested a lot to make it cozy and comfortable for renters and their pets. The Water Oaks are illegal to cut down so without sprinklers or turf lush green grass everywhere is a challenge in OBX shady lawns. So glad you loved the pool and house!! 😎

Very nice!

The house is very nice and an enjoyable place to stay. The walk to the beach is very doable and includes a nice path to public access that we found to regularly have parking spaces (though it was September, so can't speak for the summer). Lots of bedroom, yard and deck space!

Location and space

We enjoyed our stay on this property. Colin took extra steps to make sure we are taking care off. The property is secluded and close enough to walk to the beach. One down side is it is near the highway. Traffic can be heard on some rooms. Not a big deal for us though. We are definitely coming back.
