Beach Condo

We love staying at The Shipyard. It is the perfect location in the Keys. This condo is very comfortable for 3 maybe 4 but any more would be tight.We loved it!

Truman Annex in Key West

This was a nice property and perfect for our group. The unit was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the back patio a lot. The area is the perfect distance away from many attractions and quiet enough at night to be able to rest. Great place!

Great Spot

Excellent & Simple 2-Bedroom. 5 Minute walk from everything. Easy check in/out. Everything turnkey and efficient.

Great location

The unit is fairly basic. It has everything you need and the location is excellent. The furnishings and appliances are somewhat dated.

good vacation

Quiet & safe neighborhood. Kitchen for the most part had everything we needed. Bedrooms are smaller so it was tight (and we pack pretty light) . They could improve it with better beds.

Great Trip to Key West

The property is very nice and everything was clean when we arrived. Check in directions were easy to follow; there were no contact procedures due to COVID and our keys were left for us in a locked box. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The complex is quiet, and we had an assigned parking spot. We enjoyed using the pool and meeting some of our neighbors. We had plenty of space except for my giant suitcase (I always overpack) had to be placed in the living room floor. This property is well-taken care of and we highly recommend it. It is located in Old Town section of Key West and we were able to walk to Duval Street and lots of restuarants, shops, and museums. Thanks for making our trip comfortable and enjoyable!

Not as clean as I like.

The property was not as clean as I would like, the floors needed scrubbed when walking in socks they turned black, also the beds were very uncomfortable, the mattress pad was too big and the contents in the comforts were bunched up. Also the people above us would run their washer anytime and could be heard in our bedroom when we were trying to sleep. I will not be using HomeAway again.

Wonderful & Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay in our rental at the Truman Annex it was a very clean and conformable place and in a convenient location in town. The pool was well kept and very clean. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and would love to visit again in the future. Thank You!

Friends Vacation

Loved the location which was basically in the heart of Duval Street and all the restaurants, bars, museums, beach and attractions. Definitely looking to come back again.

First Time VRBO

Property was small but well done - beds were OK and bathrooms small but clean and updated. Nice kitchen with small gathering space inside and out. No view but very walkable to everything.

Nice Truman Annex Retreat

This place is great for a shirt or extended long term stay. My only negative would be that there were only a very limited local stations and it would have been nice foe a basic cable package which I would come to expect.

Great property!

We spent ten days in Key West in October at this property. When we arrived, it was fully stocked with everything we needed minus perishables. The condo has great amenities and an excellent location to Old Town activities. Check in and check out were easy and fast. We highly recommend this unit!

Nice Condo/ Trouble getting into complex

We enjoyed the stay at Key West. We arrived after dark, picked up our keys at the office in the lock box. When we arrived at the condo there was a gate to get in . There was no gate code on my literature to get into the complex. I had to call the emergency number to get the code to get in. The next morning I was reading literature that was in the condo about parking passes for the cars it advised me Togo to a Front st. Address/ bldg 21 to get a parking pass. This literature was from 2013. I went to the Address and inquired about the need for a parking pass and they had no idea what I was talking about. I did speak with someone there and they advised me that I needed just to go to the guard shack and request one. After that was all taken care we did enjoy our stay. Will plan on returning!

Charming condo in the Truman Shipyard Annex

For the complex size I felt the pool was a little small. Lots of people using the pool. Not a lot of lounge chairs available. I could hear "long term residents/owners" complaining of tourists. We didn't spend a lot of time in the pool. Was a 15 minute walk to Ft Zachary. And probably 15 minute walk to Mallory Square and Duval "action". Loved the washer/dryer. There was Hand, dish & laundry soap, dryer sheets, etc. available - Loved that. The condo seemed clean but floor seemed "dirty" (as you walked around feet and socks got pretty dirty??). Would stay again. Rent bikes!
