The Wheelhouse Inn on Kent Street welcomes visitors to its newly renovated suites in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island.

Located directly across from The Kings Playhouse, this five unit Inn offers guests the option of a one bedroom or studio style suite. All suites feature beautiful cathedral ceilings, a private entrance, deck access, and brand new appliances.

We are located 650 meters from The Wheelhouse in Georgetown restaurant and under 7kms to The Brudenell and Dundarave golf courses.

Very disappointed and grossed out completely after my shower. We’ve stayed in several Airbnb and vrbo’s around the east coast, and each one has been amazing. Unfortunately wheelhouse was the exception. Keep your expectations very low on this place. While it technically matched the description, and it has high potential to be really good, it fell flat in all the gross ways. It feels like lots of investment went into a renovation of the big stuff (ie new appliances, ceiling treatments, kitchen were really nicely done), but they forgot about all the ‘little stuff’ that had a hugely negative impact on the experience. The bathroom was pretty gross (needed to redo the sink area, shower curtain, etc), but the worst part was that we got a selection of what appeared to be cleaning rags as our towels. Literally- they were ratty and filthy (brown stains, mold stains, lipstick on one, not sure - ultra disgusting). The pictures of the towels attached are literally right out of the cupboard and laid onto the floor - one just got wet when I threw it on the floor in disgust after my shower. The furniture and floors were also gritty, the bed sheets were like straw, and the bed was like climbing into a loud pile of hay. And the front door was 3/4 clear window with full view into the room. I would have left after the first night if I could have. On the positive side, location was good and communication & check-in was easy.

Lovely apartment, friendly service, in a beautiful little seaside town. Couldn't recommend the Wheelhouse Inn more highly. Super clean, well-appointed, very comfortable.

Great and quiet place

Very nice and comfortable property. I left some suggestions to the owner about some little things missing that would be useful. The area is very nice, very quiet place and nice atmosphere.

Quaint peaceful village

We enjoyed our 5 nights in this well appointed unit. The village is very quaint and beautiful with a couple of good restaurants, a lovely boardwalk, a nice ocean side park and a stunning public garden.

Thank you for the excellent conditions and prompt accommodation! We felt very welcomed and truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. Just a small suggestion: the bed might benefit from a quick check, as it tends to squeak slightly with movement.Highly recommended!

Beautiful accommodations. Very clean, comfortable and everything you need. It is quiet, nice to have a patio to sit on and all amenities if you want to do your own cooking. The only thing missing was shampoo and bath soap which is no big deal, just bring your own. Definitely our new go to. Thanks Terry.

Getting instructions on how to access the unit before arrival would be helpful. A hair dryer in the unit would be nice as well. Generally a nice place to stay though.

Beautiful place, clean, refined, spacious, conveniently located, but very few accessories for a week stay, we had to buy quite a few things like toilet paper, dish soap, cloths and although the furniture is clean and modern, it is cheap.

Everything you could want...almost

Nice little "apartment" with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Only thing missing is a blind or something similar for the door. That would provide a bit more privacy.

Overall the inside of the property was clean and spacious for 2. Our concern was with the outside of the property. Could have used a bit more cleaning around window trims and doorways, there were plenty of spider webs visible. Hopefully if that gets taken care of the property would be a more ideal place to stay.

Nice place

Nice property in Georgetown. Looks to be a fairly new renovation. Quiet. Close to water. Owner responsive to issues (our was missing a coffee maker and toaster). Overall would recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

There are no blinds on front door. Felt completely exposed. Outside lighting at night made it difficult to sleep. Air ventilation and temperature in the bedroom made sleeping difficult.
