Freshly remodeled duplex on historic Austin Ave. Close to Magnolia, Downtown Waco, Cottonland Castle & Baylor University.

The house was built after the 1953 tornado. Before completion the house was elegantly re-designed and finished by Abner McCall for his mother and her guest or caregivers.
It took us 2 years to remodel the property. My mother lives in one side and now we offering the guest side for Waco visitors. The property has a large fenced in backyard and a common courtyard (great outdoor space) that is great for hanging out. Easily sleeps 2 couples. Queen bed in one room and KIng in the other. Remodeled kitchen with new modern appliances. All of the furniture is new. The furniture is from a famous Dallas department store. The furniture was used as samples for photo shoots to feature in catalogs and their website (fyi our main job is in furniture wholesale). Cable Televisions in both bedrooms and living room. Wireless internet. Plenty of parking, located on a large corner lot.
240v plug available for level 2 Ev charging.

Galentines Trip

My cousin and I enjoyed a weekend at our new favorite property in Waco over Valentines weekend. The house was one of the most well appointed homes we've ever visited. The beds and towels were top notch and so comfy. The home was clean and they had it stocked with everything we could've needed and then some! We are so thankful to have found this gem and will most certainly be back!

Peaceful retreat

We needed a place a place to overflow for Christmas and this property was perfect!The whole process was peaceful, setting up our stay, check in, communication, the beautiful home and furnishings, kitchen was fully stocked to cook Christmas dinner. We are super thankful to have this property in Waco to retreat to again when we may need it. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for a great stay!

SPECTACULAR VRBO

This is the cleanest most beautifully remodeled VRBO we have ever found in Waco. Every single detail was perfect and had been thought of. The furnishings are gorgeous. The courtyard is magical!!! It’s full of the most spectacular and fragrant roses! This home and the owners are so Welcoming. The owners were so lovely and kind. Just can’t say enough nice things about this rental.

The best house we have ever rented on Vrbo

It’s perfect in every way! The location, the furnishings, the air conditioning, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the bedrooms! We have stayed this property three times. Best Stay Ever

Everything about this property was wonderful. It is beautiful with a very calming esthetic. The details—the fresh linens, towels, soaps—everything were luxury hotel quality. The house is extremely clean. It was quiet and the owner of the adjoining home is very sweet. Wonderful!!

Second time is a charm

This is our second time visiting and the place didn't disappoint. Well stocked, super clean, smells good, comfortable beds, soft towels. There's not much else you could want at a VRBO. We'll be back again!

Amazing house! Great location!

We loved our stay at the Austin house! Bill was very responsive and check in was very easy! Like most reviews, the house is decorated beautifully! Beds are so comfy and they go the extra steps to make you feel like you are home (while being away from home). We will definitely be back when we visit Waco! Thank you for having us!

A total Gem

This was such a wonderful place to stay. It was simply beautiful and Such a quiet Place. Everything, and I mean everything was clean from top to bottom. I contacted him because we came into town earlier than expected and that was fine with him. We had a bottle of wine there for us when we arrived. Where do I start. When you drive up you can see the courtyard from the driveway. And the grounds are neat and manicured. There is plenty of seating for all in that courtyard. When you walk in from the back there is a hallway foyer. The Kitchen is next. When I tell you everything you need is right there in that lovely kitchen. The fridge made me feel right at home, because there was plenty of room. The dinning table seated all of us. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were full of thick hotel grade towels. The shower that we had has a rain shower in it and felt so good before bed time. The funiture in that house is so beautiful. Trust me it is not cheap by any means. We were so very pleased with our stay and we plan on returning again. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We rate this 1000+

Quick Getaway

The place was very cute, remodeled and perfect for a quick getaway to see the Silos and more in Waco! Definitely would recommend if you like relaxing after a day of sightseeing etc. Couches were comfy, rooms / bathrooms were super nice and we loved the kitchen. The only thing we wish is that it was cooler outside so we could enjoy sitting on the patio / fire place. :) Would highly recommend!

Dreamy property

The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated, a designer's dream. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everyday items and condiments in the fridge. The bedding was so comfortable I ordered the sheets during my stay. The location is perfect for all of Waco's must see stops. Ms. Sunny, next door was a gem to visit with. We loved the beautifully landscaped courtyard in the evenings.

Comfortable Waco Home

The stay was wonderful! Comfortable and anything we needed was there. May have been the most comfortable sheets and bed I have slept on in a VRBO. Plan to stay there if I have future Waco trips.

Lovely Austin Ave remodel in Waco

Family of 3 visiting Waco for BU orientation & Line camp. Very lovely 2bedroom flat in lovely historic district which was adequate for our family. Kitchen was nicely done - well lit. Love the kitchen island that we could eat at. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and even some common food items. Thankful for the snacks & wine that the host provided. The bedroom were as listed. The larger contained a king size and the smaller contained a queen/double. The smaller bedroom had adjoining bathroom with a lovely shower and double sinks. The larger does not have an adjoining bathroom. But there is a hallway full bathroom with a single sink. The shower was lovely and water pressure was nice. Despite the bathroom/bedroom switcharoo - home was lovely and very cozy.

Perfect Waco Rental

I am constantly renting houses in Waco for visiting artists who teach at my store. This is one of my all time favorites- safe neighborhood, close to downtown but not in the rental village, beautifully furnished and comfortable, lovely courtyard. It’s a 10.
