The property was as advertised. A clean and well maintained home that you feel very welcome in. The host is communicative and Elizabethtown is great town with wonderful eateries. A close drive to Hershey Amusement Park.

The house was wonderful, great spaces, very well equipped and decorated. The host was very kind and attentive to our needs throughout the stay. The area is rural and provides a quiet and beautiful backdrop for your adventure or getaway.

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times while receiving medical treatment at Penn State Hershey Cancer Center which is about 20 min away. Emily is a very responsive host. The house is beautifully furnished, always clean, and has a nice property. Can’t say enough about the comfort and hospitality.

We had an outstanding stay at the Modern Farmhouse Getaway and would book it again in a heartbeat.Communication with the host was excellent the whole way through. Questions were answered quickly, directions were clear, and we always felt taken care of without any back-and-forth hassle. Check-in was seamless — easy instructions, no stress finding the place or getting inside — and checkout was just as simple. Everything was set up so we could focus on our trip instead of logistics.The house itself was beautiful and truly ready for guests. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee, and all the everyday essentials you actually use. We didn’t have to run out for basics, which made cooking and mornings so much easier. The amenities overall were thoughtful and high quality — it felt like a real home, not a bare rental.One of our favorite spots was the fire pit area. It’s gorgeous — the kind of outdoor space you want to linger in at night. Perfect for winding down after a long day, hanging out with family, and making the stay feel special.Highly recommend. Great communication, easy check-in and out, a fully stocked kitchen, and that beautiful fire pit made this one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in.

Wonderful place to stay for our trip to Hershey.The setting is so peaceful and the house was lovely. My only wish was a second bathroom, but we all loved the fire pit and the outdoors

This is a great little place place, and the owners are super responsive and helpful! Only thing that could be improved is adding another bathroom, but this place is impeccably, kept, and very comfortable, and it was just a really great experience!

Stayed here to visit Hershey, which was a short drive to and from the park. House was a lovely comfort to return to each night. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!
