Jason, we're thrilled Sunset Retreat worked well for your visit. Thank you for sharing your review. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry that your check-in experience was frustrating, especially as a first impression of your stay. As soon as we became aware that you were having trouble accessing the house, we responded immediately and provided a solution. We are also reviewing the lock setup to help prevent similar issues for future guests. We also appreciate the feedback about the light switches. The lighting is functioning, but some lights are controlled by multiple switches, which can admittedly be confusing if you’re unfamiliar with the house. We’ve worked to label the switches and will be reviewing the labeling again to make it as clear as possible for future guests. We’re glad you enjoyed the lakefront location, and the house itself. We truly care about the experience our guests have at Sunset Retreat and want every stay to be a wonderful one. We take guest feedback seriously and are always looking for ways to make the experience even better. We’re sorry that aspects of your stay fell short of that, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Patrick & Anna

We’re so glad to hear your second stay was just as great as the first! It’s wonderful that you were able to enjoy the lake, bring your boat, and make the most of the patio space with friends. We’d love to host you again anytime! Best, Patrick & Anna
