Our stay was very nice. The host was very responsive and the place was clean. Was nice that there were beach chairs for our use on our beach day. Perfect for a short beach getaway.

The property was just the right size for a vacation home and the location was perfect. We could easily enjoy the beach, shop or just enjoy the backyard fire pit. The host is very accommodating and we recommend staying at this property!

Great House

The house was nice, clean, and surprisingly spacious. All the appliances were modern and the backyard was nice as well. This is a great place to stay and it's minutes from the beach.

The house was cute and well decorated. The neighborhood could have been better but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Unique and cozy

I was visiting family and friends who live in Chesterton. This location was great for day activities in the area and not too far of a drive for all of us. Pretty nice central location. I didn’t spend much time at the house but the amenities and offerings were perfect for what I needed.

Hidden gem

Celebrated Christmas with my family here and it was perfect. Neighborhood was quiet, has a fenced in backyard with fire pit and chairs. You do have to park behind the house there is an alley way but its not creepy, And its lighted. Communication was quick and easy with host. We enjoyed our stay

The home was clean and furnished. There were plenty of towels and linens. The listing of the interior of the home was accurate and suitable but overall we had a disappointing experience at this location. The listing boasts a "7 minute stroll" to the beach. The closest public beach is a 45 minute walk through a low income neighborhood and crossing several high speed state roads. The listing also boasts a deck. The only "deck" on the property is a single person ramp that leads up to the backdoor. Additionally, several pictures included in the listing of the "exterior" and "property grounds" are of random locations that were not observed any where near or around the home. These hosts have several properties around the country. I would caution anyone considering any of their properties to read through the listings and reviews carefully before booking.

Nice holiday stay, minor things to note.

We stayed with 2 medium size dogs. Overall it was a nice rather clean stay. The “fenced in yard” is different than appears in photos & one of the gates does not latch, we put a trash can in front of it. Just a note for anyone else with dogs. The cleaning stipulations we’re also a bit extra for the added cleaning fee (and actual cleanliness upon arrival) few things broke here & there marks on walls. Nothing that would make me not want to stay again & grateful to have a place to stay with dogs.
