Thanks Morgan. Parking is very tight every where on the beach. At least Sanddollar Unit 1 has a wider available space (50% wider) than other Sanddollar units and can reasonably accommodate up to 4 vehicles. Right across the street there is a shop with ice cream, coffee and bagged ice. There is also a small convenience store and a bike and cart rental shop. And there is a beach shop - actually 2 beach shops within a short walk. Please do stay with us again when you can. Mike

Our guests really do appreciate the multiple living areas, private balconies, and direct access to our unit’s private beach front. It is the widest (about 45 feet) in the area as we have a pie shaped lot solely dedicated to our guests. The beach level rooms open directly to the beach and the dedicated HVAC works hard to manage the humidity from beach proximity. And the comings and goings of “the boys” probably made the job even harder. Thanks for staying with us. Mike

Stephanie, the couches were not in the pictures on VRBO (they are now) but have been in Sanddollar Unit 1 since April of 2024. So about 70 families have stayed with us since we replaced the couches and you are the first to say anything about them. There are cushions that are internal to the wicker - they are just covered by the wicker and not external. These replaced cloth covered couches which weren't appropriate for the conditions inherent in a beach house (swimsuits, sun screen, etc.). If you look at the furniture in other rentals you will see a predominance of vinyl covered couches. Our couches are the equivalent but covered in the vinyl wicker rather than just vinyl.
