The cabin was cozy, warm, cute and close to Big bear lake village. This is a great place to stay for a weekend trip. We love it!

Excellent!!!

This little cabin was super nice and homey. It also had all the kitchen essentials , it felt like a home away from home. Short walk to a lot of restaurants and places ! It was a great place to stay !!

Great cabin

Stayed for one night. It was a very nice cabin, was very clean and well kept. The light fixtures, furniture, decorations etc felt very cabin-like which is nice when you're looking to get away for a weekend. It’s also close to the Village where a lot of the local shops are. I would definitely stay here again.

Our first cabin smelled like cigarette smoke, so we were put in the one next to it. The cabin was not very clean and needed some upgrades. After waking up and discovering that a rodent had eaten food in the kitchen, we opted to leave a day early. The manager answered our text right away and gave us a refund for the last day we did not stay.

Everything was good. Only thing is there’s a tree outside the front door that was banging on the cabin all night. We had a hard time sleeping. It literally sounded like someone was walking on the roof and was banging on the side of the cabin outside the front door all night. Cabin is cute and bed was comfortable, if we were able to sleep.

Great little cabin in the heart of Big Bear

Wonderful little cabin just minutes from downtown. Walkable to The Village area and lots of shops and restaurants. The space was perfect for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. Quaint decor and feels like it was recently updated. Check in was easy... David was super friendly and even offered recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Overall the stay was great. Just what the photos showed. The location was really nice as you could walk to the village or nearby food places. You are also in the "center" of the area - to the left the Village and to the right Big Bear City.If you want to log into your own Netflix, HULU, etc... bring your passwords!I think having a small broom in the kitchen area would be great as we were bringing in pine tree / dirt when entering - or have a door mat inside.

The listing said 1 bedroom but it had no bedrooms. The bed was in the living room. The only other room it had was the bathroom. I wouldn’t call this 1 bedroom. The sofa was so tiny, it was hard to sit on it and was quite uncomfortable and we are short people. I cannot imagine an average sized or tall person trying to sit on it. There were absolutely no instructions for anything. It took more than an hour to get the tv to work. There was a thermostat on the wall that did nothing, we were supposed to use a remote control but again there was no instructions for that either. Other than that it was fine. A lot smaller than I thought, especially since it didn’t actually have a bedroom. Everything worked fine once you figured it out and it was very clean. It is very close to the village which we liked.

Thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback. Cabin 2 is a studio cabin, and I apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the layout. I’ve updated the listing to make the description clearer for future guests. Regarding the TV, we use a Roku TV. Occasionally, previous guests change the settings and don’t switch them back. I’ll have my staff double-check the TV settings after each stay to help prevent this issue going forward. As for the thermostat, it is functioning properly. During the summer, we keep it set to maintain a constant temperature of around 55°F, so it should remain on. I’m not sure why it appeared not to be working during your stay, but I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. In addition, the cabin is equipped with an air conditioning unit that provides both cooling and heating. Thank you again for your comments. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.
