My friend & I had the pleasure of visiting Detroit Lakes, Mn for a girls getaway. We were so impressed with our VRBO rental. The reservation process was easy. The communication from our hosts, Chris & Kensie, was thorough, clear and appreciated. The house was a beautiful comfortable older home with all the modern updates anyone would need. We looked forward to coming back to the house after our daily excursions around this wonderful town. We will be returning for a longer visit next time.

Nicely updated older home in a quiet neighborhood. Host responded quickly to questions. Well stocked kitchen and anything you'd need for a family with small children.

We truly enjoyed our trip to Detroit Lakes. The host is very responsive and the house has all the amenities you need. It's very clean. The sleeping accommodations were very comfortable.

If I could score it a "10" I would ! This house is excellent. It's comfortable, has everything plus more of what is needed. The attention to detail is really set up for people to have what they need, relax and enjoy the area. The location makes it easy to go places either walking or driving. Communication was prompt. Great house. I would surely come back to this house.

Being that there was no communication from you during the duration of your stay, I’m also slightly confused as to why you only rated your stay 3/5 stars? We would have loved the chance to provide you a five-star experience during your stay, but again, we were provided no insight or feedback via the check-in messages that were sent on our end during your stay.

This place is in a great location, I felt very safe out walking my dog in the neighborhood. Awesome walking distance to several shops and restaurants/bars. It’s a nice, cozy place to just sit back and enjoy your evening. The hosts have many options of places to go visit, the troll hunt is something we didn’t get to do but we will for sure next time we visit DL. I highly recommend this cozy place!!
