Marke and Evelyn were wonderful hosts very attentive to our needs and ensured that everything was in order on the property throughout our visit. And they provided a tour of the rest of the farm which we fully enjoyed.

The property was clean and beautiful. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We had 12 adults and were able to spread out and sleep comfortably. The beds and pillows were very comfortable!! The gardens were very peaceful and zen, we spent lots of time floating in the pool. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

The property is great. The swimming pool was a highlight with the garden surrounding it. The house was spacious with plenty of sleeping space for a large group. It is very close to Duncan, BC, which was nice for groceries, gas, restaurants, etc. The drive to Victoria takes a while. The hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Marke and Evelyn are wonderful and warm hosts. Very responsive. The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. Very clean. The pictures do not do the property justice. It truly is magical. We look forward to returning next summer. Thank you for a great weekend.

We were a group of eight, including seniors, teens, and parents, and everyone had an excellent stay. We would definitely come back! The property was beautifully maintained and even better than the pictures. The house was spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves – we didn’t even use one of the bedrooms. The amenities were amazing! The pool was large and heated, the veranda was very relaxing, and the kitchen was well-stocked with so many extras! Everything was thoughtfully provided, making it truly feel like a home away from home. Marke and Evelyn were wonderful hosts, very welcoming, and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out.This property is perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It was the perfect place for our family to spend quality time together!

Incredible views and plenty to do - we enjoyed the heated pool, playing billiards, watching a movie on the projection screen w/ surround sound. Hosts were available with any questions and very welcoming.

A fabulous place to spend time at. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The pool is a real treat. You definitely feel like you’re on a vacation. It’s also located in a beautiful area but yet not too far from town. Highly recommend

Outstanding everyone had a great time, facility everything above expected, Management or owners the best we had in the past. Wonderful grounds, pool, and room for family to visit and bond as family. Highly recommend. We also enjoyed the ability to spend time in the local communities.

We were delighted to have Gary and his family as guests in our villa. They were clean and tidy, openly communicated, and followed all of the rules. Gary was particularly generous with his amazing talent of taking an editing photos. He sent us a lovely picture of our dog Baxter, which we will have framed and keep as a cherished memento of their stay. We would love to have them again should they choose.

A great place for a family vacation

With one son living in North Carolina and the other in Japan, we're always looking for places in between to have a family vacation. This filled the bill perfectly. Plenty of space and bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen, but we spent as much time as we could outdoors--with many different seating arrangements to choose from. And there's so much to do in the area! We barely scratched the surface.

Peg and her family were wonderful guests. They were quick to let us know of their need which we responded to immediately. They adhered to the rules and left our home clean and organized. We would be delighted to have them back.

The Family Farm experience

This is a great place for family to come together. The pool even at this time of year was warm. The Billards table was a real favorite with each challenging the other all evening long. The kitchen was a dream to cook our large turkey dinner and pumpkin pies and the dining room looked so lovely when set up. I brought a number of family decorations for the table but the home truly has everything you might need for full enjoyment.

The name is accurate, it was a Magical Farm Villa!

We had a birthday gathering with friends and family over 4 days in September. This was a rare occasion where the photos did not do justice to the place - it was beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked, and it was so lovely to have ample room for us to gather together or spread out when we needed space. The fireplace was so cozy, the games room & pool added activity space, and the location was just beautiful. The morning sunlight across the misty farm fields was gorgeous. Our host was available and responsive. He was on site to water plants, so was handy if we had any questions. We walked 30 minutes to Emmandare Vineyard for a wine tasting, which was also delightful. One group went to the Raptors Centre, which was a hit with the 8-year-old. So much to do in the area, and amenities are close by if needed. Would happily book again!

Perfect for Multi Family Gathering

This beautiful home was perfect for our recent May long weekend gathering. We were three families with kids ranging from 10-13 and there were enough rooms and beds for everyone. Everyone commented on their great sleep in the comfortable beds and soft linens. The house and exterior living space is more than spacious and we never felt on top of one another. The heated pool was an absolute hit with kids and adults alike as was the recreation area in the basement. We enjoyed some walks along the country road the house is situated on and also got out for some mountain biking at nearby mountains. You feel like you are tucked away from the rest of the world on this gorgeous property but when we needed to run out to grab something from the store we were moments away from everything we needed. Unfortunately the heat pump broke down just before our arrival but with the cross wind breeze coming through all open windows no one seemed to mind. The hosts were lovely and accommodating with any requests and were available close by if we needed anything. This is not your typical house rental, and it’s obvious that this is the hosts home that is very well tended to with love and care. Everyone loved our stay - our only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer!

We stayed for five days with our family and overall had a decent stay. The home was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The gardens and landscaping are beautiful, and we really enjoyed the friendly visits from the deer during our stay.There were, however, a few things that could be improved. The pool was dirty when we arrived and wasn't as inviting as we had hoped. We also had to request additional toilet paper and dishwasher pods during our stay, and when we asked for Kleenex, our request was declined. It would have been appreciated if these basic supplies had been stocked more generously for guests.Communication was inconsistent. Some text messages went unanswered, and when we did receive responses, they were often quite slow. We were aware that someone would be coming to repair the speakers, but we didn’t feel the repair was necessary during our short five-day stay and would have preferred that maintenance be scheduled after our departure. While we appreciated the effort to address the issue, it did interrupt our stay.Overall, the home itself is comfortable, clean, and well-suited for a larger family. The beautiful property, gardens, and extra space were definite highlights. With better communication, more attention to stocking guest essentials, and more consideration around scheduling maintenance during guest stays, this could be an even better experience for future visitors.

Our stay at the magical Farm Villa was greatly appreciated by each our family members. The atmosphere and hospitality exceeded our expectations. The peaceful location on the Farm property offered an opportunity for great relaxation, interactive, fun, and games with all of our family. This is truly been an opportunity to create new memories, which will last a lifetime.
