Retreat into this perfect little home away from home that comes with everything you need. Have this family friendly and peaceful home and yard all to yourselves! Relax and unwind with no TV for some quality time together while enjoying a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Located in the perfect spot in the town of Coaldale, you will never want to leave!

Notes:
- Sleeps 4 on beds but can sleep an additional child in a pack n' play, which is available upon request.
- No Sunday inquiries or check-ins please.

Family fun within a 5-minute walk:
- Coaldale Sportsplex with winter skating, summer swimming, and park trails directly behind it
- Soccer fields, basketball courts and a playground at R.I. Baker Middle School
- Coaldale Spray Park is the perfect place to head on a summer day with lots of water fun, a playground and picnic tables

Within a 10-minute walk:
- Coaldale Food Market is a locally-owned grocery store that sources a lot of Albertan and Canadian grown foods
- Get pastries and freshly-baked bread at Coaldale Bakery. Known for its "Touch of Dutch", it's also the perfect place to go for trying out some Dutch products such as hagelslag and appelstroop.
- Head to main street Coaldale which is filled with local shops (i.e. Oasis Market, Wiebe's Delicatessen, Boxcar Bud Supply, Chicken Feed Quilts, Good Health Dispensary, the Loft, Kettle Coffee Co), as well as common brands such as Red Apple, Buster's, Pizza Hut, Subway, and Pharmasave

The home was exactly as described…clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Just perfect

This little. House is a perfect base for anyone wanting to explore the area. It has everything you will need and more and the hosts are happy to help with anything you request. The location to local shops and restaurants is great. We loved our time here and will be back again!!

An Alberta prairie home, this Coaldale property holds a nostalgic feel. The open interior space, combined with prairie windows—large, expansive windows framed with wood—lets in plenty of light to the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. A skilled carpenter has modernized the home tastefully, making it feel elegant and spacious. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax or enjoy reading a book. It’s the kind of setting that helps you escape the daily routine. The driveway can accommodate one, two, or three vehicles. The backyard is spacious and features a table for morning coffees and quiet evening chats. The kitchen is equipped with all the tools needed for meal preparation. The bathroom provides towels and facecloths. Each bedroom has made beds ready for sleep. The basement includes a washer and dryer for convenience. A home away from home, this is.

It was perfect for the two of us. We were allowed to have our grandchildren visit us for a day and an overnight sleepover! The house has 2 bedrooms. One with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. One grandchild slept on the floor with a pillow mattress brought with him. There were dishes for little ones to use.The place was clean and well looked after. It had a very comfortable, homey feeling. It was like a 2 bedroom apartment with the washer & dryer in the unfinished basement. The host was very friendly, and helpful when we had questions. A binder with information was put together by the host which answered most of our questions. There was a window air conditioner for those hot days!There is a good sized fenced in backyard with large trees and flowers beds. There was an outdoor table & chairs for 4 people. Very well looked after property, front and back.We highly recommend this place!The neighborhood was quiet. There were activities close by for the children...playgrounds, splash pad, swimming pool, toddler pool and toddler playground, & a library.The house is close to a grocery store and a wonderful bakery!! Also restaurants & other shopping. Very friendly town.
