This property has incredible views of Hatillo dairies from its spacious balconies. Quite the Puertorican experience. The villa is just a short drive away from excellent restaurant choices, amazing beaches, supermarkets, gyms, walking trails and almost anything imaginable!

Very comfortable home with a great pool area in a quiet neighborhood. Great for large families or a group of friends. One of the rooms is detached and by the pool with its own bathroom which was great for our needs. While there are a few areas of the house that could use some improvements, the host is extremely accommodating and quick to respond, which makes up for any minor issues.

Nelson and Miguel were very responsive. We had a few issues but everything was resolved in a timely manner. The house is in the mountains. Very close to stores within a 5-10 minute drive. There is a bakery on the up the road about an 2 minute drive that had the best fresh baked bread and pastries. Our neighbors had a cow which was nice to see in the mornings. The views from the back balcony are breath taking.

Our stay was amazing! Nelson the owner was amazing the best owner/host we could have asked for. The house was packed and stored with all that we needed to accommodate both adults and kids. The house look just as pictures. We had issues with loss of water the last two nights but nelson came with his workers and made sure the problem was resolve. He was very attentive and gave us a full itinerary of things nearby which was very helpful as well.

The kitchen sink has very little water pressure. The water pressure in the rest of the house was fine.

The place truly is a villa !!! it was better than the photos . I am a physician and cleanliness is a top priority! it was extremely clean ! The towels were soft and the best! The beds were so comfortable and made to perfection! The pool and outdoors were used daily. Felt safe in the area . Nelson, the host, was so responsive and answered any questions we had . He was able to take some of the kids to the airport and gave them a tour in the process that went above and beyond !! The set up of the home offers space, yet a family common area.. this is truly an amazing villa ! We will be back!!! 10/10!!

Great place, recommendation pump needed in pool, beginning and end of trip pool dirty. Nelson great attention to our concerns. Definitely too hot in living space, can’t imagine there in summer….

2025 family trip

We stayed here April 2025. 8 kids ranging from 3-16 & 6 adults. There was plenty of space for everyone! Beds are so comfortable, plenty of towels for pool & showers. All essentials you need in the kitchen, jacuzzi felt amazing, there’s a basketball court on the side attached to the house that we didn’t even know about but was great to have. Bakery up the street is AMAZING! Only about 8 min drive to Walmart. Host was amazing and answered txts within minutes! Highly recommend! We will be booking here again in the future as well! Can’t say enough good things!

Country feel/Close to Many places

Stayed for 1 week exactly (Tuesday to Tuesday).The house has a nice country feel and is in a great location—just a short 10–15 minute drive to beaches, restaurants, and stores. There's also a convenient bakery/gas station with a small store just 2 minutes down the road.The host was very responsive and even checked in during our stay, which we appreciated.That said, the house could use a deep cleaning now and then, especially the floors. Some minor updates like fixing small issues or replacing the toilet seat would go a long way in improving the overall feel.Overall, we enjoyed the stay and the peaceful setting, but a bit of upkeep would make the experience even better.

Great Escape

Perfect in everyway for out multi generational winter getaway! Amazing outdoor/pool area, great neighborhood, private yet close to amenities and beautiful beaches. Loved the Lechuga bakery on the corner. The hosts left a beautiful welcome basket of fresh fruits, and beverages and the home was well stocked with the basic needs that are very helpful to have on hand. Many games and pool toys on hand with many activities right in the house for all ages. I found the hosts to be extremely thoughtful to our family experience. Thank you Nelson and Miguel for ensuring our family had a great stay. Five Star experience!

Amazing getaway.

This home was absolutely amazing. We had thirteen people, and it comfortably accommodated all of us. Nelson, our host was amazing. He even dropped by with a Box of frozen goodies for us. I would recommend this for anybody. Looking to go to puerto rico, nice centralized area, perfect for our family.

Family vacation

Property was very comfortable fit all 14 of us very well. The pool of course was a big hit!! The pool house was great! Communication with the owner was very fast. He addressed any needs we had. Would stay here again.

Great fit for our large, multigenerational group

We had a great time and the host was very responsive. The home met the needs of our family of 11 people for 9 days. There were enough outdoor spaces that everyone who needed alone time could find a quiet place. The listing is accurate allowing us to be prepared for a comfortable stay. We were there over the 28th and enjoyed watching people get decked out in capes and masks to celebrate this cultural event. This neighborhood is the center of the party and the sirens and music went on all day and all night. Based on previous reviews we came prepared with ear plugs and re-routed our activities away from Hatillo for the day. If we came Puerto Rico again with our family we would stay again at the luxury utopia villa.

Family Vacation

Overall the house was exactly like the pictures, my only surprise was that it’s up and down stairs..just one room upstairs with no bathroom (big room) so the younger ones stayed up there..lol..I arranged this trip with my family so the pool house/room with its own bathroom was nice and private for some decompression time with my husband..we know family can be a lot..the pool was a true plus…but most importantly we did not feel like we were on top of each other..there were 10 of us…the grill was also a great benefit..definitely worth it..if you don’t mind driving it is a drive from other places 1-2 hrs…so map it out for your convenience. The beaches in the area are beautiful and restaurants were good We did a lot of driving to visit family but for the comfort it was worth it

Its ok

Overall, the place looks nice. However, there is no A/C in the living room or kitchen which forces you to have the door open and have flies everywhere. For my stay, the place wasn’t as clean. We had to call and get the pool, a sofa bed, and one bed clean. Water leaking in the sink, issues with A/C in the room upstairs as it wasn’t strong enough to cool the room. Last in my opinion, the house isn’t comfortable for 16 people, and not very safe for children.

Retreat in rural Puerto Rico

This rural retreat in Hatillo, Puerto Rico is certainly among the nicest in this community. Beautiful beaches and good restaurants are within 15-20 minutes, and local community is welcoming. The pool is a lovely component of the home. All bedrooms and bathrooms are air-conditioned and thoughtfully appointed. However, there is no air conditioning in the family room and kitchen, which is a challenge for guests expecting to spend family time in the great room space or to cook/share meals. While we had an overall good experience, investment in air-conditioning in the main living space/kitchen and cleaning/overhaul of the kitchen, providing cutlery and better cookware/cooking utensils, and eliminating the need for flypaper in the kitchen (especially with animals in adjacent yards) is essential for future guests. We made the most of our time by leaving home during the day to experience the beauty of nature and for meals. At times, we gathered in one air-conditioned bedroom to watch TV together. I’m grateful our group was so easygoing about the conditions given our collective expectations and need for a break. The online profile promises a utopian experience but was overpriced given the above limitations. With some attention to these details, it would be a fantastic retreat. The host is responsive and can arrange transportation and tours in a luxury van, but I would recommend renting a car, given the need to drive everywhere except perhaps for a tour to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Family reunion

Beautiful property but it needs TLC- No AC in common area. Made it difficult to be with family (10) for meals, games, movies etc. The area had 3 ceiling fans but we still had to add another 3 standing fans to be able to use the space. The house had a commercial floor fan and we bought another at Walmart. The house needs door screens to keep from the amount of bugs that come inside. The entire house and the external use of the house needs a thorough cleaning and extermination. The pool needs better maintenance. The water stayed foggy and dirty. The outdoor living space included a studio. Did not have proper toilet water, super dirty that we had to buy supplies to clean and mop. And no hot water with very little water pressure. Out of the 3 bathrooms, only one had hot water. The bathrooms leaked that we had to use towels to keep the floors dry. 2 sleeping rooms were very tight and uncomfortable to open luggages. One bedroom had a portable AC with a fan. It did its job but it needs to run all day to stay cool. The upstairs bedroom, beautiful space but not comfortable for sleeping. Both doors to the patio were filled with bugs, dirty patio that should be easily hosed down. And there is no bathroom! The kitchen needs to be cleaned. The amount of stuff that is left behind from other renters, could be better organized or thrown out. The kitchen sink clogged and leaked each time we turned on the faucet.

Proprty was as pictured some areas could use an update for the price. Owner should let people know before booking that he shows up to the property whenever he wants because his office is located on the property I believe in the garage area. Other then that great stay.

The house is beautiful and in pretty good location to explore the island. The actual stay in the house needs more attention to detail. Walls were dirty, bathroom drains were full of hair (disgusting) we had to clean it ourselves, not good. The bathrooms did not have floor mats for getting out of the showers, no wash clothes to dry our hands or face. Kitchen did not have a sponge to wash the dishes. Second floor rooms floods with water from the rain and our luggage got wet (not good) we didn't even have access to the dryer to dry those wet items. I understand that we only rented for 4 nights but the flood should have never happened and wet our luggage. The bed sheets on the second floor bedroom were stained (disgusting). Some of the pillows were made from cushions, and the others super hard, could not get a good nights rest. The mattresses were not even mattresses they seemed more like a thick cushion but definitely not real mattresses. The outside area had cigarette buds there when we arrived in the rocks poolside. The pool was dirty with leaves, dirt and what looked like green mildew on the pool walls. The jacuzzi was low on water and very very dirty murky water. The barbecue wall was black from previous use. Not an inviting area to even want to put food to cook there. Sliding door vary hard to close, seems to be on the verge of breaking. I truly expected to have had a better experience for the price we paid. It's a shame for such a beautiful house. Do better for others

This home is extremely cozy and beautiful. The rooms were comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh water bottles in every room. The provided coolers were a lifesaver for our beach days. The only suggestion I have would be to add an AC unit to the living room, as it can get quite warm during the day, especially while cooking.
