We’re Myriam and Jorge, your hosts at this peaceful Ocotal retreat. We split our time between the cloud forests of Monteverde and the sunny beaches of Guanacaste, and we feel lucky to share the beauty of Costa Rica with travelers from around the world.

As longtime hosts, we’ve welcomed hundreds of guests and take pride in creating comfortable, well-cared-for spaces that let you truly relax and enjoy your vacation. We value clean design, great sleep, good local tips, and thoughtful details—and we aim to provide just that in every stay.

We enjoy discovering quiet corners of Costa Rica, walking on the beach, and helping others fall in love with this country. Hosting allows us to meet people from all walks of life while supporting our small, family-run business.

We love this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds—peace and proximity. Nestled on a hill between Playa Ocotal and Playa del Coco, it’s a perfect base to explore the area. While Playa del Coco offers a livelier atmosphere with bars, shops, and nightlife, Playa Ocotal is the quiet counterpart: calm, scenic, and ideal for those looking to unwind.

Ocotal Beach itself is a gem—small, picturesque, and less crowded, with beautiful sunsets and excellent snorkeling. One of our favorite spots is Father Rooster’s , a laid-back beachfront restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood with your toes in the sand.

This neighborhood gives you quick access to the energy of Coco when you want it, and the tranquility of Ocotal when you don’t. That peaceful balance is what drew us here—and we think guests will love it too.
