House Includes:
Fully remodeled one bedroom, one bath, lakefront property with breathtaking views. Over-sized screened in porch with plenty of seating for relaxing with your morning coffee or for an afternoon nap. Upgraded kitchen with all new appliances and fully stocked for any meal prep needs. Upgraded bedroom includes a king size bed with top of the line bedding and mattress. Living room includes an additional twin size daybed. No Pets Allowed.


Property Includes:
You will have your own private dock on a secluded 35 acre stocked lake. Outdoor amenities include 2 kayaks, fire pit, charcoal grill (charcoal provided).

Come and enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere of country lake life.
Lincoln Lake community offers a picnic area, playground, local creek and plenty of fishing.

Our stay at The Blue Heron was fantastic! We enjoyed our time there immensely. The lake side chalet was spotless and very tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We kayaked everyday on the very quiet and peaceful lake. We saw so many different kinds of birds and even some deer. We spent a lot of time on the screened in deck,enjoying the view free from pesty bugs. Gloria has created a tranquil,relaxing place to get away and recharge.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The screen in porch was great in the mornings with our coffee. The pier was great for fishing every morning and night. This place was very clean and quiet being in the countryside. We are figuring when to come back.

I enjoyed my solo trip to this place! It’s very peaceful and quiet and great view from the patio and love how big the patio is! I’m glad the owner doesn’t allow pets because I would hear dogs barking when we are supposed to come here for peace and quiet, especially when reading on the patio and getting away from the noise and chaos at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone, I like how they have a little bed by the kitchen if someone wants to sleep out there as well and how the bedroom leads into the bathroom. I will definitely be back again!

I took a much needed trip and this was the perfect spot for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I can't wait till I can come back. Gloria was a excellent host and quickly to answer any questions. Love this place!

Gloria’s place was absolutely charming. The screened in porch was our favorite part and where we spent 95% of our time there! We willl definitely be back!!

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend at the Blue Heron and were so happy we chose this location for our getaway. The cottage is directly on the lake, which made for a gorgeous view. Sitting on the screened in porch looking over the lake was so peaceful! The cottage had everything we could have needed, including two comfortable recliners and a comfortable king size bed. The host left us a large basket of snacks and cold bottled water in the fridge. Plenty of towels and paper goods were also provided and appreciated. We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area, we absolutely loved it!!

We had an excellent experience here. Everything was great! Host was very informative and answered all of our questions. Fishing was great. Enjoyed using the kayak and boat. I can't think of anything that could have made our stay any more enjoyable! Hope to be able to stay here again!

Gloria was a wonderful host and quick to reply. House was great with comfortable AC in the July heat. Coffee and snacks available. She had blankets, a fan and details about town. The screened porch was fantastic and wonderful for morning coffee. We didn’t use grill or fire pit but both available. The lake and neighborhood was quiet. Would absolutely book again!

We had a very nice, very peaceful stay at the blue heron. A perfect little community off the beaten path. The screened in porch is perfect and the interior of the home is clean and well kept. We had a fire out by the lake each night and could not have been happier, certainly didn't want to leave.

This was the perfect destination for unplugging from the world! It was so relaxing. We enjoyed watching the birds and listening to the frogs at night. My husband fished a little as I read on the lovely porch. Would highly recommend.
