Clean small but cozy, loved the location, everything was wonderful listing was exactly as described. Was close to boat launch just minutes away even by boat. Had a wonderful time will stay again.

Super nice, peaceful get-away. Love the private dock and all the sitting areas outside. Feels secluded and I like it. Very easy access as well.

What a beautiful getaway! The cabin feels like it’s well off the beaten path, surrounded by water, and so peaceful. However, it’s close enough to civilization if you need to get back for anything. The cabin itself is immaculate and has every amenity you might need.

Lovely Peaceful Stay

We absolutely loved staying here. The owner was very communicative with us.The view and peacefulness was amazing. Close to Winchester if you want to go into town. We truly enjoyed our stay!

I will start with the positive: the location is incredible with a beautiful shoreline and wonderful woodsy setting. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. The high price tag was only appealing because the property is pet friendly. However, the bedrooms and only bathroom are accessible through what amounts to an attic ladder you are forced to crawl up or down lugging belongings and petrified puppies. The full-sized beds are atrocious and the kitchen might be ok if not for the attic ladder in the middle of it so you have to scoot between the stove and the fridge. The same goes for the “living” space; nice couch surrounding the front for the attic ladder. It is not my intention to paint an overly dramatic scene but we ended up leaving a night early which we communicated the host and never heard back from him since. I would not recommend this property, certainly not at this price.

I am so sorry that you did not love your stay. This property is a cabin and we have been careful in the description to explain that the stairs are ladder type stairs.

A couples getaway

We had the most amazing time at the cabin. Fishing with f the dock, grilling, fires in the fire pit at night, and of course the coziness of the cabin. Will be coming back again

Love it here!

We had a great time! Super clean, quiet, and very private. We could pull our boat to the dock and relax on the dock or up in the yard. Loved the old look and small appliances in the cabin. Reminded me of when I was younger. We have been here two times now. Love it!

Peaceful Escape

This is a clean, comfortable and well-appointed cabin and a well-maintained property. It was perfectly simple and had everything we needed…even a flashlight, which we forgot. Our host generously accommodated our special request. Access to water with a kayak was easy. We would love to rent this again! Leslie November 2024

August Getaway

I had hoped it would be cooler but it wasn't as I had hoped. However, the cabin, while small, was fine for me and my dog, Rosie. W enjoyed the dock and the lake. It was nice being on an inlet so we weren't bothered by noisy jet skis and motor boats. Very restful. Thank you for having all the amenities we could wish for and such a lovely setting.

Spring Break On The Lake

This is the sweetest little cabin! And the location is perfect close to Winchester and Tullahoma. We also took a day trip to Lynchburg! This is truly a TINY cabin. The bathroom is the size of a coat closet, and the stairs are very much as explained in the description. The beds are very comfy! My only suggestion is that the kitchen be better stocked with daily essentials like coffee , sugar and spices. On the topic of the price of the stay, it’s my opinion that you could stay in a larger cabin property with the same amount of amenities for roughly the same amount as this cabin. But if tiny house living and ambiance is what you are looking for then this is great for you!

Property was listed as smoke free; however, it was not. The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke.

The location of the cabin was beautiful/cabin was as seen on line; however it was not smoke free as advertised on line. The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke so badly that i could not shower. I did contact the owner, and he was baffled about how we could be smelling cigarette smoke. He did offer to refund our money, but we refused the refund..A refund does not make all ok. We have used VRBO for several years,and this is the first time we have had any problem. shower
