A nice little spot to come and go adventure door county nice for a very nice price. Had a lot of fun and you get to be next to a historic lighthouse perfect.

Great location! Remote but close to others. Perfect for walking. Great view of the gorgeous lighthouse. Loved it! We'll be back!

Place was neat and clean. Can't see the water to easily. Lighthouse area, next to the water, has no trespassing signs so couldn't go there. All in all, the place was nice....and dog friendly!

This property is amazing! So much room inside and out. Perfect for our little dogs. Secluded with a beautiful lighthouse directly across us. My husband is a Coast Guard Veteran and the Sherwood Point Light House brought back memories. We will be back!

Nice place with a view of the lake. Not much room for walking with the amount of private property around, including the lighthouse, which was a bit of a bummer as it looked very scenic. Still was a great place to relax and recharge after exploring door county during the day.

The sewer smell outside was terrible. Every time the water in the house was used it made it stink outside and a wet mess. The house was very old and only had loud window air conditioning. When flushing stool, you could hear it bubble up in the bathtub.

Everything was super wonderful during our stay at this quaint little place. We had no issues and everything was clean and tidy. The place was at the perfect location and was very private for us. Beds were comfortable and the place had a very cozy feeling. Seeing the lighthouse out the windows was a perfect viee! If my husband and I get back up that way, we will definitely book again here!!

This is a charming little house that was perfect for two adults and our dog. It's an older home, but it's well maintained and clean.The private driveway, which is shared with the lighthouse, is a fun and unique way to arrive and adds to the property's charm.The kitchen is compact but thoughtfully equipped, including an air fryer that doubles as the oven, a coffee maker with coffee pods, and a refrigerator that is smaller than a standard full-size model. The beds were comfortable, and the peaceful wooded setting is lovely to enjoy from the spacious living room with plenty of comfortable seating.The VRBO listing is accurate and detailed. While the listing says the home sleeps six, we found it to be an ideal size for two adults (and a dog). The owner was friendly, responsive, and communicated very well in preparation for our stay.

Sherwood lighthouse cabin

Had a great stay at this little cabin in the woods. The property was clean and quiet with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It had a nice outdoor space where we could have a campfire under the stars and the host was extremely helpful and easy to reach.

Fun time at the cabin

This is a cute, cozy cabin nuzzled into the forest on the end of a quite road. Andy was so responsive and helpful during our stay. We had a great time in the big woods.

Gorgeous Property!

The check in process was flawless, the location was gorgeous, and it was so quiet. A perfect weekend getaway right next to the lake, and the lighthouse is gorgeous. Everything inside was clean and cozy. 10/10 recommend.

Great for a getaway

A friend and I (and my dog) stayed here for a writing retreat and it was perfect. Quiet so we could write all day, and just a 15 minute drive to restaurants for dinner. Perfect size with all the necessary amenities, including wifi. Recommended!

Off the beaten path

Very quiet, clean and if we had any questions the host was very easy to contact. Nice view of the lighthouse. If you want a place to stay that is more secluded and not much traffic this is the place. Easy enough to get to the city and attractions of you want

We had an amazing time at this great little cottage. It was in a private, secluded location & was a quick drive to Sturgeon Bay's downtown area. There were a lot of games and activities provided by the host, and everything was clean. We made good use of the fire pit and grill. Overall, this was a very cozy place to stay!

Nice Door County Weekend

Property was as described and the property manager communicated well throughout. The location next to the lighthouse is unique, and this was a good jumping off point for exploring door county throughout the weekend. We enjoyed using the fire pit each night.

Early April at the Cabin by the Bay

It was the perfect place for us. Quiet, relaxing, the perfect size for my husband my self and our doggie. It had everything we needed. And the location was superb. Andy was a fabulous host. Great communication and the cabin was clean and very comfortable. I definitely recommend Andy's cabin by the Bay.
