Daybreak Shores is a super comfortable house with beautiful views and great amenities. I would highly recommended staying here with or without a pup. Although our pup loved the yard and looking out the windows.

I’ve visited Greg’s getaway numerous times and I have future stays already planned. This is the most relaxing location in Door County. Greg is a fantastic host; everything is just as it’s described and if you have any questions, he responds immediately. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet evening outside at the bonfire while the Lake Michigan waves roll in, this is your place! If you need a warm fireplace while you watch a Brewers win, this is your place. Trust me… this is your place!

Amazing house in a perfect location! The home was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the beautiful beach, easy water access, and relaxing by the campfire under the moonlight. Check-in was easy, communication was excellent, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Everything wet needed was there. Loved the location and being right on the water. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Sand tots for the kids. Lots of games for the kids. Has central air which was nice on the warmer days. Would definitely recommend.

If you are planning on spending time in Door County, this is absolutely the best place to stay! The location is close enough to everything available in Door County while still being far enough away if you want to escape the congestion of the area. Open the windows and let the sound of the Lake Michigan waves in! The house is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The yard, beach and fire pit are the best in Door County. I have already made reservations for another stay at Greg’s fantastic lake house.

When I opened the door I was thrilled to see a very neat, clean, great space and floorplan. The air conditioning was top notch and working well, The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and grill in perfect shape. We spent most the days on the deck, the firepit, and on the beach. It's a VERY quiet area. And about 10 minutes at least from anything, which we LOVED. So if you are looking for secluded, beachfront, dark skies at night, very relaxed setting, this is it. Our host was super fast to reply with anything I needed, which was pretty much nothing. But I still like to communicate if just to be respectful of their home and our experience.

One of our most favorite stays! Spent the weekend in a beautiful house on the beach and got to sleep in and take mid day naps. Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful weekend. The host made everything easy for us at check in and check out. I’ve referred this place to many others already!

We had a great time at this beautiful property! It was our first weekend getaway with our baby (10 mo), and the rental was very family friendly. The host was very responsive and kind. Easy lake access! We will be back.

This is a great property! Beautiful location with Lake Michigan only a few steps away. The host was great at communicating, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, and you can't beat the location. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here over Valentine's Day weekend, and we had a whole floor more than we needed, so we'll have to bring the kids next time. :) Making coffee in the morning and sipping it while watching the lake was so peaceful. What a treat to be within steps of Lake Michigan!We also enjoyed our time in Sturgeon Bay at the Fire and Ice Festival. The house was conveniently about 15 minutes away, and it was a pretty drive. We'll be back!

Daybreak shores is perfectly named for its beautiful sunrises over the lake. We enjoyed a quiet and cozy winter weekend with beautiful views and a warm fire. The place is very clean and has great provisions. It is remote and quiet, but a short trip to Sturgeon Bay for shopping and restaurants. Greg was a very helpful host. We would love to come back and experience other seasons here.
