Fantastic Time

We had a great time on our short getaway. My husband and son enjoyed fishing off of the dock and I enjoyed the sunroom! We will definitely stay again.

weekend stay on Lake Marion

Our weekend stay at Lake Marion was a good experience for my partner, our pup, and me. It was our first time visiting the area, and we were greeted with warm, sunny weather that made the trip even better as we had just left snowy weather that morning. The views from the property were absolutely breathtaking, and the home matched the online description perfectly. We also loved the nearby bar, which was just a short walk away. The people there were so welcoming, and we had a blast participating in trivia and bingo.

Great place to stay

My son and I came up for a family weekend, others stayed at other houses in the neighborhood. This house was great. The owners were very nuce and the house was prefect for us and my dog. Highly recommend nuce

Bad deal

No privacy, like a subdivision. Pictures showing a gas grill that wasn't there. Shared boat dock that wasn't listed.kitchen poorly supplied, stove didn't work properly and the house was dirty with sand on the couches and two of the beds. Also the house will not sleep 10 people. aleep 10 people. Houwell with locks.

Super cute lake house just not clean!

Title says it all. House was cute and convenient but really dirty :( this was pretty upsetting to me and my family as we are naturally very clean people.

Needed cleaning

Refrigerator and stove wasnt clean,bad smell in the living room,the sofas and chair,we had to spray air fresher and disinfectant several times to get the smell out,porch did not smell very good,we bought air freshner,extra plug in freshners to put in the house..Closet had a odor also,we didnt put our things in there..That was alot of moneyto pay to have to clean before we could unpack..Overall it is a fairly nice place,everyone seemed to enjoyed the time there...I hope I didnt offend anyone..The neighbors were very friendly and nice..

Love the back yard! The dock was great and has lovely views! The enclosed back porch was great! Able to enjoy the water view and all the wildlife while enjoying my morning coffee. Thanks! We will be back!

Water lovers

The location was great. I love that area of lake Marion. The yard was beautiful. The owner came over and introduced himself. The house layout was great. The only thing that really needs to be improved is the cleaning. The floors, tub and counter tops need a good cleaning.

Goat Island Vacation 2023

Nice little home to rent for the week. Owners were very pleasant. Great location. Had to rent at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. This was pet friendly so it fit the bill. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and relaxing

Our group consisted of me, my wife, our daughter & 2 grandchildren, my mom and stepdad along with our 2 dogs. We loved the sunroom for our morning coffee and evening relaxing time. It easily accommodated all of us with plenty of room for the kids to play and the dogs to sprawl. We took daily evening walks through the neighborhood without worrying about very much traffic with a 4 and 2 year old, they loved seeing the bunnies and picking blackberries. Not much luck catching fish from the dock but would definitely go back again and again for our annual vacation.

One of my best vacation experience

Thank you so much for a complete relaxing vacation experience, our stay fulfilled exactly what we were looking for. Our rental was very clean and organized, listing is very on point of what to expect when you arrive. Our host made sure everything was okay for us after our first night. We had alot of laughs and memories created and will most definitely be back.

Awesome memories

We had a great time at your rental the last couple of nights. You have a beautiful place there, and we will be coming back. My son is battling cancer, and he had an awesome time, which he needed. He had the biggest catch of the weekend and couldn'twipe the smile off his face. Thanks again for making these wonderful memories possible.
