Our family had a fantastic time! The house was super clean and nicely accommodated 8 people without feeling cramped. Great weekend at the lake!

Excellent place to bring the family and dogs for a fishing trip. Fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs, boat dock with electricity, and great lake access.

We really like this place. The dock was great for our boat and for fishing right off of it. Very pet friendly. We stayed here last year at the same time and felt like it had not been maintained quite as well this year.

The property was nice, clean, spacious, and has a beautiful view of the lake/cove. There is enough room for everyone to relax, hangout, socialize, or escape. You can fish from the dock, or dock your own boat. The covered and enclosed porch is a nice place to sit during the pop up rain showers.Most of all, it is incredibly peaceful.

Great place to fish and watch golf

We wanted to do some fishing and to watch the Masters golf tournament. This is a great place for both.

Week long stay at the lake

We enjoyed our stay at Big Mama’s Cottage. The house has lots of space and a nice dock for fishing. One side of the yard is fenced in for your dog. We would stay again!

Fishing trip

The house was perfect for our fishing trip. We had plenty of space and it was nice that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom.

Great family location

Pleasantly pleased with the amenities and cleanliness of the property. Very well stocked and the layout perfect for a family. Loved the dock and back screened porch. Decor gave the space a feeling of home. My location for a lake get a way!

Sue’s 80th birthday

Everyone loves the house. It was perfect, stocked with everything we needed. The birdwatching was amazing. Would definitely book again. thank you Jamie Sue we had plenty of wine glasses.

Spring Break at Big Mama's on Lake Marion

It's an older home, but well updated. It exceeded our expectations. It was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels and other supplies. We were pleasantly surprised that the check-out instructions told us there was no need to handle the trash, dirty dishes and laundry.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Big Mama's Cottage provided everything we needed for our relaxing family vacation! We enjoyed the spacious setting with plenty of room for the 10 of us to spread out. The property was so beautiful and in a very quiet neighborhood. We had so much fun fishing and swimming. Watching the wildlife was especially entertaining! Memories we made to last a lifetime. We would gladly stay at Big Mama's again the next time we are able to visit! Thank you to JamieSue and Hugh for making this rental available and for your being so accommodating!

My family had a great time! It was cold but we got to go fishing, sit by the fire pit and make s’more. Played games they had in the house.. House is equipped with everything you could need.. The owner was outstanding! Quick response when I had a question.We will be going back again. We all enjoyed our vacation! Thank you Rose

The house is stocked great in the bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked on silverware and dishes. Not so much pots and pans and for someone who loves to cook that was a problem for me. Overall if we were to come back to this lake we’d probably book here again and I’d just bring my own pots and pans

Nice place to stay. Disappointed our little ones couldn’t get in the water because of an alligator hanging out at the dock, it would have been a nice place to swim.
