Quiet, secluded cabin with exquisite furnishings, fluffy towels and cloud like bedding. Fall was starting to show its colors and the view from the front porch relaxes you right away. This area is surrounded by horse farms and vineyards and Monticello and other historical sites are nearby. Already made reservations for next year.

The cabin was a great experience. The location and host were awesome. Everything we needed to stay was available in the cabin. The kitchen was well equipped for our meals to be prepared. The layout for bedrooms worked out perfect. The facility was clean and so nice to sit and enjoy the beautiful views outside on the porch.

We loved this beautiful and unique property near several wineries. The views and peaceful setting were just what we were looking for. 3 couples enjoyed the home and we had plenty of space. The decor and updated amenities were excellent. I would stay again!

Beautiful cabin in the rolling hills of Virginia. Immaculate; well appointed; exactly as pictured. We enjoyed “porch sitting” and wonderful family time. Our host was very kind, responsive and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed sightseeing in the area…it was a fantastic experience.

A picturesque property! With beautiful views in every direction. The cabin was everything we had hoped for and more. Clean, beautifully appointed with true charm. The porch was a perfect spot to have a coffee or a cocktail. Our host was friendly, gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. You’ll want to book another stay, as this is a spot you’ll surely want to revisit. It is a gem and we are so grateful we found it.

Such a beautiful house! We were so comfortable and the house had everything we needed and more. The sauna was really special and you must have coffee on the porch. The host was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We will be back!

This was a wonderful relaxing retreat. The cabin is luxurious and hosts were so welcoming. If you want a wonderful secluded stay, this is wonderful.

The property is so beautiful. So many trails to explore but you can also just sit on the porch and enjoy nature. It was very peaceful. The host was right down the road and easy to get a hold of. The home had flowers all around it that attracted beautiful butterflies. It was a quick trip to Montpelier, which was a great place toexplore. I would recommend staying here but if you have problems going up and down stairs this house isn’t for you. Excellent house, great communication, home is decorated nicely, and the scenery is wonderful.

The cabin was well-furnished and immaculate. The setting is peacefully remote. Sitting on the front porch and hearing only raindrops and chirping birds was memorable. The host is welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again.

The cabin was perfect. Our friends were birders. We enjoyed the morning bird noises and sightings with our morning coffee on the porch. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future. It would be lovely anytime of year and in any weather.

We had a great short stay at the cabin. Cabin was clean, Wik was a helpful host and communication was great. The property is beautiful and peaceful but convenient to attractions. Kitchen was well stocked for what you need, and beds were comfy. Sauna was a nice treat.

We had a great time at the cabin. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch each morning overlooking the gorgeous views of the property. Enjoyed walking through the trails on the property, and visiting with the horses. We were able to see some deer and a fox as well. Great peaceful, relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful stay and our host was extremely personable and welcoming. He gave us several recommendations for places to eat (Gordonsville Ice House had phenomenal fried chicken!) and offered tours of the property, which was very expansive. It was well appointed inside and we had a very comfortable and relaxing time. Highly recommend checking out this unique and special property!

Just stayed for my wifes birthday weekend...Everything was outstanding and exceeded expectations. I dont think we've stayed in a better short term rental. The cabin is situated near 2 ponds with great views of rolling hills and great fishing! Coffee in the morning on the front porch was great as well. Loved the proximity to a few of our favorite wineries. Really lovely. Wik was a great host, very informative and attentive! We will definitely be back!

Great Cabin in a Beautiful Location

Beautiful log cabin. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. Perfect place for a quiet, relaxing stay. We highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing property. Owner was extremely attentive to everything. The views were amazing and we were able to see deer and wild turkey during our stay along with the beautiful horses they have.

Great trip

What a great spot! The home and property are truly amazing, and our kids had a terrific time fishing at the different ponds. Wik is a great host and we’d be happy to come back, a great trip all around.
