Welcome to Mountain Mist. This two-story cabin (b. 2018) boasts one of a kind mountain views from the outdoor decks and bedrooms. Enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the breathtaking views and peaceful sounds of nature from the recently expanded lower deck. Soak your stress away in the private hot tub while gazing at the night sky. Stargaze while roasting smores' in the outdoor fire pit. Retreat from the hum and bustle of life and take time for yourself - make Mountain Mist your secluded relaxation destination. All the comforts of home: a fully equipped kitchen, one queen sized bedroom, one full bedroom with full trundle bed, two bathrooms (one on each level), private loft area, washer/dryer, farmhouse sink, granite countertops, outdoor fire pit, pet friendly, Dish TV, and most importantly, stunning views!

The Perfect Long Weekend

This was our fourth cabin on Lydia Mountain and may hold the top spot for views. The fog in the valley in the morning was magical, and once it burned off the views were amazing. The cabin had everything we could have asked for (minus a dishwasher, missed that in the description) and was perfectly clean and maintained. Thank you to the owners for sharing such a special retreat.

Great getaway!!

Wonderful place to celebrate my birthday! Views were gorgeous! Be careful with the roads if you’re going up in the winter LOL. Thank god for 4x4. The hot tub and fire pit provided lots of entertainment and is within reasonable driving distance for hiking and tours - even though Skyline was closed due to weather. We made it work!! Definitely will stay again but may try another cabin next time! Thank you!!

Great views and location. Broken hottub

We enjoyed the views and location. However, half of our entertainment plans was built on hot tub. Once we got to the property hot tub wasn’t working. Called office. Maintenance said pump is out and needs to be replaced. No partial refunds, future credits. We paid full price for something that is not delivered. Be aware…

Not A Great Stay

This is my third time staying at the Lydia Mountain cabins. The hot tub in this unit did not work and a maintenance guy came out twice and it still would not get above 80° and kept cutting off. We were unable to use the hot tub, which was a big reason we come every year. Also, there was a hornets nest outside somewhere so hornets were all around the deck & it was difficult to go outside and enjoy the view. The AC wasn’t working downstairs. The battery was dead in the remote so the maintenance man had to go get batteries and this was Saturday morning when he came to look at the hot tub for the second time. I called the office on Saturday after the hot tub still wasn’t working and asked if we could switch units, the man said he would call me back & never did. Lastly, some of the farm doors were off track so that made it pretty difficult to be able to close the bathroom door and use the restroom.
