Stayed for a Conference

This is a great place to stay for a couple or single person if you are looking for somewhere to sleep while in Charlotte. Communication, cleanliness, and location of the place was perfect for what I needed as I had a conference downtown. I have no complaints and would stay again if I needed to.

Clean and close to uptown

We had a nice stay here over the weekend. The listing was not very clear that it was a room in a house so we were surprised and felt that we had to be quiet because we could hear people in the house. We arrived quite late and it was very dark when approaching the house, but the motion light activated as we got closer to our entrance in the back. The room was quite clean, the towels could have been a little cleaner however. But overall we had a nice stay.

Lovely little hideaway

My partner and I stayed here, for a wedding. Very walkable spot, we walked twice to a yummy ice cream shop, “2 scoops”, and definitely check out ace burger. It’s a very quiet neighborhood. It is a room you are renting, but the host makes it feel like more.

Anniversary Vacation

This was the perfect little spot for a home base for us while we were on our trip! It is very tiny, but all we needed for our plans. It was a bit tricky to find the first time, coming in at dark, but the house number is lit up once you find it. The caretaker was luckily outside and he was extremely helpful! Gave us ideas of things to do, reassured us about the safeness of the neighborhood and was very friendly. Although it wasn’t necessary, communication was excellent, especially on our host’s end. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Lovely neighborhood minutes from uptown Charlotte. It had everything I needed. The host thought of everything. I would definitely stay there again.

Good Stay for Solo Travel

This is a great, clean one bedroom with bathroom for a solo travel to Charlotte. I ended up walking to the city when the weather was nice, and you pass through a pretty greenway (about 40 minutes). I like cooking, so only have a fridge and microwave was tough. However, it does give you a chance to try out the food places nearby. Host was kind and provided everything needed for a short stay.

The host thought of everything!

The place may seem small but the host has thought of everything from a small table that facilitates dining, utensils are in the microwave, the bathroom is clean and there’s hot water in the shower. The host is also super when asked for help and direction.

Cozy Clean and Quiet

This is 1 bedroom and shower/ bathroom with a separate entrance. The room also has a microwave, refrigerator and Keurig. I enjoyed my stay. It was very clean and quiet. The host was very responsive and accommodated my diet. (providing a hotplate and a pot so that I could cook my food.)Though it is a room and 1/2 bathroom, the host is not bothersome and constantly hovering. This is a great place and I would definitely use it again.

Good place to stay for one person.

The property was adequate for me since I was by myself. Had my wife been with me as originally planned, it would have been very tight. The shower unit is tight. Since I was not doing any work while at the property, basically just needing a good, clean place to sleep, it worked out fine. I don’t know if a fold down off the wall desk or table would be possible, but there is no work space for a computer or any other books, documents to do any kind of work. Sitting on the bed with a TV tray as your desk is the “work space.” Again, really good place to sleep and bathe. Owners were very nice, very responsive when I had any questions and very easy to work with. Convenient, short drive to the Convention Center and other sites downtown.

Weekend Stay

Enjoyed my stay in this quiet neighborhood. The room/bathroom is just as it appears in photos. Separate entrance in the back of the home. 10 minute ride to the Convention Center where I spent most of my time. Renter was very responsive and timely to my questions.

Cute setup but no privacy

My boyfriend and I booked this stay for a few days to explore Charlotte. The listing says its an apartment, however it is a guest room in someone’s house with a private entrance. Had we known that we would not have booked as we wanted a place to ourselves. You can hear the homeowners talking and moving about the house which made us feel like we had to whisper when we were there. Aside from that the set up was nice and equipped with everything you would need, just not what we thought we had booked. This is probably best for solo travelers, or those who don’t mind being in another person’s house.

Small and efficient

Great little place for a single traveler. The location is not far from uptown, but it's not walking distance (which I was hoping for). Mind, I could have walked it but the roads didn't seem right for walking the entire way. But uber or lift were quick and inexpensive.

Just what I need.

I spent a week here in Charlotte for work just by myself. I just needed a place to sleep at night. This place is perfect for that. It’s very quiet at night. I don’t need to share the bathroom with the rest of the house which I like. I had to contact the host a couple of times with questions and they responded right away. I would stay here again.

Surprise

Dad came in to NC for an American Legion National Convention.My sister and I surprised him for his 80th BDAY!! Quaint place, we did a LOT of walking to near-by restaurants and shopping, even walked to Uptown...a Challenge but duable with my athletic sister!! Wonderful, reconnect with sis and surprise for our dad!!💙💐🎂🇺🇸🙏

a perfect little stay :)

First off, our hosts were awesome. The location was phenomenal, as we could walk to a few restaurants, and any other place was a quick and easy drive. But back to the hosts- they were great so I must mention them. The second to last day the AC was overworking to try and fight the heat index of 105. I messaged our host and within 30 minutes, she brought a portable AC/ice fan for us. If that’s not accommodation and courtesy, then I don’t know what is. :) All in all, it was a great experience and I would stay there again.

Great location, perfectly appointed

We stayed for a long weekend to explore Charlotte. The location was fantastic, walkable to so much of what we wanted to see. Easy Uber ride from the rest. It was as advertised, small but very clean and the host thought of everything we could possibly need which was impressive given the small space. We didn't realize this was part of a home, we thought it was separate. We could hear voices and activity going on in the rest of the house but it didn't disturb us. The shared interior door had an inside lock so privacy wasn't an issue.
