The Orion River House was the perfect place for the 5 of us adults to stay for a family wedding. The view overlooking the Wisconsin River and all it's sand bars was amazing. There's plenty of room for extra family to visit, have S'mores, chill in the screened in porch. The hosts responded immediately to any questions and were so hospitable. Lounge, go see the area, grab some local food, and just enjoy this property!

This place is amazing and I will be back to visit. I cannot express enough how magical it is to sit next to that crazy big river and just watch it flow by.

Communication with Holly was professional and timely. The checkin instructions and local guide had a lot of great information. Property was well priced, but the privacy and seclusion was priceless! Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. We’d come back for sure.

The sunroom and quiet location were the best parts of the place. The house was not clean or well stocked, there were dog pee stains in the carpet downstairs and the main bed had sand in the sheets. I spent a chunk of our first day there cleaning & changing bedding. Don’t plan on any fishing as the current in the river is too rapid.

The view cannot be beaten. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t miss mine once. I loved that everything we might have needed was there in the event something was forgotten (tooth brush, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc). We had a lovely stay!

The property is as described, but better. We are foodies, so we appreciated the fabulous kitchen. There was a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. We are also water bugs and planned to swim across to the sanbar against the owners advice. This would be a great place for fishing and you can place a chair along the shoreline with your feet in the water, but swimming is a definite no. Luckily there is a fabulous spot just 1.4 miles away with a safe spot to enjoy a lovely sandbar and the DNR provides free life jackets.

This place was amazing. The river view was spectacular. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. We were looking for a relaxing weekend and that is exactly what we got. I would highly recommend. The garage parking was a bonus! Especially for unpacking and packing up the car during a storm!

It is a beautiful home with all the amenities. Everything was well laid and relaxing. The view and land is gorgeous!! We really enjoyed our stay and would happily rent again.

Amazing relaxing getaway!

The house was beautiful and a perfect location right on the river. It was our first time away from our children in 4 yrs and it was the best relaxing getaway ever! We will definitely be coming back again next year.
