Enjoy beautiful, secluded luxury. Located between Fennimore and Montfort, WI, the Cabin at CastleRockCreek is waiting for you. 3 sleeping areas with 1 King in Master BR, 3 twins in 2nd bedroom (incl. trundle -- can be bunked or separated) and a lofted living room with a super comfortable American Leather 'Comfort Sleeper' queen convertible (no bars!). Sleeps 7 in comfort. 1.5 baths incl. large tile shower. Full Kitchen w/ new appliances and cookware. Lofted Living Room incl. High Def. TV w/ Blue-Ray DVD, movie library, and Wii gaming console w/ games for rainy days. Also includes board games, poker set, and a small reference library. Wireless Broadband Internet and Central Air-Conditioning provided as well.

Property is located on Castle Rock Creek -- direct access to a renowned blue ribbon trout stream -- and is tucked away in the woods overlooking a scenic valley. Huge deck, covered outdoor areas and immediately adjacent to over 240 acres of wooded DNR ground assures privacy and recreational opportunities including fishing, hunting, hiking, bird-watching, cycling etc. Popular cycling routes for the avid cycler (or motorcycle enthusiast) wind through the hills and ATV trails and routes are not far away. Hunters enjoy opportunities for trophy deer and turkey and fisherman can enjoy miles and miles of one of the most productive trout fisheries in the nation.

Enjoy fantastic views of the scenic cliffs of Castle Rock from the kitchen window. Fall foliage is spectacular, as are the wildflowers and area wildlife viewing opportunities. For the non-sportsman, enjoy the laid back pace of the Amish and farm countryside. Savor the peace and quiet with coffee and a good book on the deck while listening to the burbling stream below. Sightseers will enjoy Spring Green -- a scenic (40 min.) drive. Enjoy Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, The American Players Theatre, House on the Rock, award winning golf, etc. Both Dodgeville and Mineral Point, WI are even closer (less than 30 min.) with fabulous restaurants and historic downtown shopping districts and art galleries.

We stayed here for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. It is a beautiful and a quiet location. It was nice to be surrounded by all the trees.I highly recommend this terrific home.

House surrounded by trees. House was clean and supplied well. Communication with owner was excellent and they were quick to respond. Nearby fishing was easy to get to and the setting was beautiful. Walked from the house and climbed Castlerock. We highly recommend this property!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin. The owners were very thorough with all the information you needed to know both before and during the stay. We loved the beautiful setting amongst the woods, the privacy, the deck, all the beautiful windows, the fully stocked kitchen (which we thoroughly used), the cleanliness, allergy friendliness with no pets allowed, fishing & exploring Castle Rock & Castle Rock Creek at the campground. The space worked really well for our family of 7 (our youngest is 15 so mostly adults). We highly recommend taking the trail up Castle Rock for an amazing view (its only a few minutes away by car). We took in Wyalusing State Park, on the Mississippi River, and especially enjoyed Treasure Cave & also Governor Dodge State Park where we traversed Steven's Falls Trail to see the waterfall and climb the big rocky area. God's creation is so amazing & beautiful! Thank you for sharing your cabin & property with us in this beautiful part of Wisconsin.

Excellent! Easy access to all the different towns and attractions in the Driftless region, including Effigy Mounds on the Iowa side of the river. Cabin was very comfortable and super clean. Would definitely book here again.

If looking for peace and relaxation this is the cabin to rent. I did meditative yoga surrounded by the sights and sounds of fall. The cabin was nicely designed and I loved all the big sunny windows in the kitchen. A happy comfortable place. The loft was spacious and comfortable.

This little cabin in the woods was perfect for us to spend the weekend away for our anniversary. It's private & secluded but right off of the road. We brought a laptop and used that to use our streaming services and watch movies (there is a fire TV and DVD player which worked well too). We would be happy to stay there again and again.

The cabin was perfect for our stay. Very quiet with the sounds of cows in the background, it was lovely. This cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We appreciated that very much, thank you to our hosts.The communication was amazing with our hosts, both were very accomodating and returned our emails with almost immediately. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay in the Driftless

Nice secluded cabin for nature lovers. My son enjoyed the chance to try his luck at fishing nearby, while also being about play Nintendo Wii on the system at the cabin.

The Driftless Area (an unglaciated corner of Southwest WI reminiscent of Upstate New York) is known for its scenic, wooded valleys, spring fed streams and rocky hilltops. It is a unique part of the country -- very different than much of the midwest -- and for those in the know, a special place to get away without having to go too far.

Our cabin was purchased unfinished and in some disrepair in 2009. Thanks to my architect wife's keen eye, some elbow grease and a desire to create something special we remodeled our cabin into the luxurious hideaway we have today. We enjoy sharing our little slice of heaven with others who appreciate the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the finer things in life. This is not a rustic cabin. While it is certainly off the beaten path, it is also modern, well-kept and luxuriously appointed. We appreciate guests who treat our cabin as their own home and have been very pleased to find that nearly all of our guests do so.
