This home is located walking distance to downtown, a fitness park and river access. The backyard is surrounded by woods. If you are interested in Stand Up Paddle boarding on the Wisconsin River that is also a possibility, make arrangements. Riverwood Retreat is centrally located to 10 golf courses within 20 miles. The Riverview Hospital is .5 miles away. The curling club and hockey rink are 2 miles away. Every season has a reason for a visit.

Lovely, home in a quiet neighborhood right by the Wisconsin River. The home was very clean, accommodating, and well maintained. We were in town for a wedding and had everything we needed. All three beds were very comfortable. We went on the walking trail and rented bikes while we were there. Our favorite surprise has to be the deer that visit the backyard every day around 11:30am. On our final day we got to see a new baby that could hardly walk.

Great location

We were in town for a softball tournament and the house was perfect! It was great to have the space to prepare meals and prep for long days at the ballfield. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay!

This home was perfect for our family as we were in town for our daughter’s wedding. The location was a great home base close to the venue, stores and restaurants but in a very quiet neighborhood. There was a ton of space with everything we needed to be comfortable. We come to Rapids often and will definitely consider this property in the future!

WI Rapids Road Trip

The place was very nice. Construction going on in bathroom but all sawdust and stuff cleaned up spotlessly. If it wasnt down to the bare wood you would not have know. KUDOS to the construction crew. The rest of the house very nice. The master bedroom bed is quite tall so if you are short like I am a step stool would be handy to get into the bed. Be careful driving down the road at night. Watch for deer. Otherwise. Very nice and I would recommend. to get into bed would be nice

Weekend up North for Friend's Wedding

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The place was huge and spotless. There was also plenty of room outside (though we did not get to use it). We felt very welcomed by Kerry & Kim. Super easy check-in process and great communication from them. We highly recommend staying here!

I have been a life long resident of Wisconsin Rapids and have grown up in this neighborhood.

While Wisconsin Rapids and the world is constantly changing, this little neighborhood seems to stay the same. It is near things that originally attracted people to this area: Water, nature, and endless recreation opportunities. This property is located very close to our home. I thought that the close proximity to our residence would allow for ease of management.
This home is unique. It has what used to be an indoor green house. This creates lots of natural light. There are several areas in the house where you can sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee while observing the birds and wildlife or watch the snow falling.

Location, Location, Location! The Wisconsin River and walking/biking trails are very near by, just 1/4 mile away. Rental bikes are located at the end of the lane, just under the bridge. A Stand Up Paddleboard business is across the street. Make arrangements with SUP the Rapids LLC to tour the Wisconsin River. The back yard joins a conservancy. Enjoy a fall or winter walk through the woods and observe one of the virgin timber stands that still remain in the state.
