The location was great for a wedding in Stonington and free time in mystic. The house was like stepping back in history! Everywhere one looked there was another intriguing antique to enjoy. Our family really enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to stay together in such a wonderful house

We had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. Our group included a 3 year old, so we were initially concerned about the potential for accidents with decorative pieces in low-lying areas, but breakables were out of reach for the most part. So, it was not a problem.

Great stay.

We had a great time at the house. We loved looking at all the great treasures and were impressed with how clean and well appointed the home is. Everyone loved our stay and Debbe was very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful house

Everything was wonderful! Host was so kind and helpful! Great house and the location was close to everything! Couldn't have been better! Hope to visit again!

Our week-long stay at the Williams Home in Olde Mystic/Stonington could not have gone any better. The house was exactly as described, comfortable, fully furnished kitchen and bathrooms, and roomy with a number of different sitting areas for our 8 adults. The decorations and beauty of the house, inside and out, led to us having a number of our family in the area visit to see how wonderful it was. The photos don't do it justice as we were constantly finding interesting artifacts to look at and enjoy. We had perfect weather and the house temperature was perfectly regulated in every room. We appreciated the dog-friendly nature of the house and the yard was expansive with a fire pit, hammocks, sitting areas and beautiful flower gardens. Parking was perfect for our three vehicles. Across the street was a recently opened homemade-danish store that we visited frequently. The stream running through the town into the river was right across the street and we enjoyed the beautiful views there and everywhere nearby. Town (restaurants and stores) were just a short drive away. Our Host (Debbie) was phenomenal and responsive to our every need, which were few. We would recommend it strongly and will visit again.

Property was just as advertised. Great location, super clean and extremely well appointed. Overall 5 stars all the way.

Annual Beach Stay

We usually stay closer to Charlestown RI but booked too late & thankfully found this gem only miles away. The home is immaculate, appointed with the most comfortable beds & generous towels, beach gear (including towels & picnic baskets) & many helpful “in case you forgot” items. Wow - 3.5 baths in a 1800’s home?! We enjoyed the fire pit & outdoor space too! Yes, there’s lots of “stuff” but it’s a neat collection of period appropriate items that - after Day 1 - just made sense. Would definitely recommend & stay again. Thank you!

Special Property

Debbie was a fantastic host and has a special property. Our family and friends loved the home and we only wish we could have stayed longer and relaxed in a place that transported us to a time gone by. Debbie has thought of every little detail!

The Williams House

What an absolute jewel! We have stayed at many guest homes across the US, but all agree that this was the best. Our host, Debbie Bied ( and Paul, too!) made us feel welcome with so many inviting touches, including homemade apple pie. The property’s nautical theme included many special touches. We spent hours marveling at the inspiration and care that went into the planning at this property. Everything at the William’s Home was clean, comfortable, and well tended. What a treasure!

Girls Halloween Weekend

The property was amazing. The host went out of her way to make sure the house was fully stocked with bathroom necessities and left water in every bedroom for us. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't’ available. The house itself is so charming and decorated to really celebrate the time period of the house. Our host communicated with us before and during our stay to make sure we were happy and didn't need anything. We loved the property and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful retreat

The house was stunning! So clean and organized with everything we could hope for. Everywhere you look is an interesting piece of art or antique. Our kids were mesmerized and loved exploring. The beds were so comfortable and the linens and down comforters so cozy. The back yard and lawn area behind (owned by the neighboring church) were great for our dog to wander! Debbie responded to initial questions immediately and then checked in once we arrived to see if we needed anything. She was so kind and thoughtful in her messages. We can’t wait to go back.

Unforgettable Family Experience

First off, Debbie is so incredibly communicative, I never had to wonder or even ask a question about the property because everything is so thoroughly explained. My kids (adult and 1 preteen) were so excited to explore and stay at the property, it really made the trip to Mystic/New England authentic. The sleeping accommodations were stellar, I am particular about my linens and towels and everything was high quality and clean. The kitchen was equipped with all of our needs, even when I needed brown sugar in a pinch. This is a one of a kind property that we will never forget and should we need to stay in Mystic again, we would 100% stay here again!

Early Nautical History

This was an exceptional stay for my family. Our family purpose in the area was to attend our son's Officer Commissioning at the U.S.C.G.A. New London. Everything blended perfectly together. The property is so unique having each room present its own story. Each corner captivating you to sit relax and explore. At first contact Debbie went to work immediately and made sure we became very comfortable with her organization and implementation "Apple Pie": Our family experience was best memories made. Thank you
