Nice but loud

The accommodations were nice. The walls are thin and you do hear the other occupants. Lots of traffic noise too because of the closeness to the highway. We were given the wrong code at check in, which seems to be the norm. Luckily we were able to speak to a customer service agent to get it resolved. Thank gosh we arrived during daylight hours! I would not have been happy dealing with that later at night

Good

The home was clean and nice. Walking distance to restaurants and beach is nice. Only one problem was our door code was wrong. But customer service solved it immediately.

Nice but not nice

The overall floor plan and the space were great. As everyone else said the code given to unlock the door did not work. Took 15 minutes of telling them repeatedly it did not work for them to send a new code. House needs pressure washing and having to pay for cleaning services is a joke. The dishwasher had been run but everything was still covered in food and gunk. There was mold growing on the master bath shower curtain. It appeared that an animal had urinated on the master bath door and bedroom carpet and never cleaned up. Found pills on the living room floor by the coffee table. Stains on the carpets in the bedrooms. Very convenient location but need to look into hiring better cleaners.

Could Be a Slice of Heaven

The home is lovely with awesome location and furnishings. Our interaction with Vacasa was awful! First, it took 3 tries and 15 minutes to get a code to let is check in. The dishwasher was broken with a service ticket on it when we arrived. Then, on day 2 the tv would not work and had to be reset by a service person; however, they never could get the cable to work in the unit. Finally, on day 4 we had a storm which through a breaker in our house. We had no electricity in the dining room or living room for the entire day. This meant our only TV was compromised. No one returned my call and it took 3 attempts with Vacasa to get resolved. I requested a partial refund for the multiple inconveniences. The Vacasa support line was not local and spoke little english, so it was difficult and frustrating, not having anyone local to speak to. I’m still waiting for a call.

Hurts To Leave

Truly a beautiful, cozy home that’s walking distance to the beach, restaurants and everything in between. Although, I was given the incorrect access code, the beach chairs and umbrellas made up for it. I highly recommend this property and I’ll definitely be back soon!

Great Location

The property was perfect. Chose this residence for a quick weekend getaway. It is right across from Pigman’s BBQ if you are familiar with that restaurant. You can walk to a lot of places, even the beach. The door code I was given did not work but I sent a text message and it was quickly corrected. I would suggest sending text messages if you have any issues. It would have been great to have TVs in the bedrooms, maybe that could be considered in the future. I would definitely stay here again.

Gem in OBX

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! I was clean, and the description was exactly as it says online. Also, our son was thrilled with the vibrating mattress and thought that was super fun. We never ran into any issues sharing the fire pit with the downstairs guests. The only thing I can complain about it the fact that there were no paper towels (thanks goodness I brought a roll from home), and there were no sponges to wash dishes in the kitchen. I did not want to buy one, so we used a rag from the bathroom. Also, I did have to add a blanket to my side of the bed. Other than that, we had a great time and we would love to come back!

Overall good with some things missing

Overall my husband and I loved our stay here. The home was clean and modern, with great amenities, and the location was superb - walkable to many bars and restaurants and walkable to the beach. No complaints there. However there were a few kinks that brought our experience from 5 stars to 4. First, the access code that we were emailed to enter the home was incorrect and thus we were unable to enter the home when we arrived. This was resolved over the phone, however after a full day of driving it was unfortunate to have to spend 30 extra minutes figuring out how to enter the Airbnb. Next, there was no blanket on the master bed — just a sheet only — which I found to be odd. (No extra blankets or quilts in any of the closets, not even a throw blanket in the living room). Finally, there were no batteries in the remote that controlled the fan in the master bedroom, which made the room quite hot at night with no ability to use the fan. Overall, none of these elements ruined our trip by any means, but resolving them would make this a 5-star experience.
