Home was very well supplied, hosts gave great instructions and check in/check out was extremely smooth with questions answered immediately. Although we didn’t utilize all that we could have through the rental we were impressed by the options and felt it made the cost more than reasonable. Our only issue was the level of cleanliness in some areas such as the bathrooms.

We loved having coffee on the screened porch! It was also a perfect spot for an evening game of mahjong! Close to all the golf courses and downtown Galena.

Beautiful property tucked into the timber. Very clean & comfortable with lots of outdoor space to sit. The hosts are great to communicate with, and the whole check-in process was smooth. The house is only 15 minutes from downtown Galena. Plenty of walking trails around the property. There’s a farmers market at the main territory association on the weekends that was worth attending.

First of all, the home is as described and beds were comfortable. There are nice outdoor spaces, but the fall leaves could have been cleaned up off the patios before we arrived. There was not enough shampoo or body wash for both bathrooms. Some coffee pods were provided, but no creamer/sweetener. The Kuerig hadn't been cleaned for some time, it quit a couple of times and we had to do some troubleshooting and cleaning to get our morning coffee. We were only staying a couple of days and we just took care of it ourselves rather than calling the host. We would have loved some throw blankets to use hanging out by the fireplace or in the screened in porch area. Lastly, the owners require you to take the garbage to a nearby refuse center that the territory members use. It was quite a confusing area and also inconvenient, having to return the community pass back to the house.

Thank you for your honest review and kind words about our home. We're glad you enjoyed the comfortable beds and outdoor spaces. We apologize if the Keurig wasn't working properly during your stay. Our cleaning team cleans and checks it after every guest visit, so we're sorry you experienced difficulties. Shampoo and body wash are provided as a courtesy, and our trash disposal procedures are communicated before arrival, including the option to have our cleaning team handle it for a small fee. We appreciate your suggestions and will keep them in mind as we continue improving our guests' experience. Thank you again for choosing Galena Green.
