Welcome to L Star Ranch, a modern barndominium located in Ledbetter, TX, just a quick drive to Round Top and Giddings. This home sleeps 8 adults and features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. L Star is a modern open concept space with beautiful pasture views from living space and the spacious front deck with a modern container pool. It is perfect for couples, families and groups looking to get away from the city and enjoy the country life or explore the Round Top antiques scene. The property sits on 44 acres with a large pond and plenty of space to view the stars and take in the beautiful Texas sunsets.
The Space:
As you drive onto the 44 acre ranch, you'll probably encounter cattle welcoming you home for your stay. Coming up to the house, you'll drive to the back of the house near the garage. Walk through the garage door and you'll enter through the mudroom equipped with a utility sink, washer and dryer, and bench area. Through the mudroom is our open concept living space with a large L Shaped couch. There is a large flat screen streaming-enabled TV and plenty of seating to relax. Enjoy the modern kitchen area with a stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with everything you need to cook a homestyle meal. Enjoy the bar seating and Dining Area for extra seating and the exquisite views out the garage door. Just roll it up for some fresh air or go out onto the large porch area for the sunrise and overlook the pond. Take a dip in our modern container pool. There are 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a King bed and ensuite bathroom with a stand-up tiled shower and large closet. The second bedroom has King bed and an adjacent bathroom. The third bedroom has two Queen Bunks. L-Star Ranch offers high-speed internet and a smart TV for movie nights.. Cards, dominos and board games are available inside the pantry. Out along the property is a pond and a dry creek for exploring. In addition to the antiques community of Round Top and Warrenton, L-Star Ranch is a short drive from Lake Somerville. Come enjoy this little slice of country paradise. You won't be disappointed.

Round Top is 12 miles, Brenham is 25 miles, Bastrop is 30 miles, and Lake Sommerville (with boat access and horse trails) is 30 miles away. The nearest airport is Easterwood Airfield Airport, 42 miles from the accommodation.

This is the perfect place for a Round Top Show girls' trip! Plenty of room, a well-stocked kitchen, beautiful deck and outdoor space and plenty of cattle-watching. It was wonderful to get away from the hustle-bustle of town after long days of shopping the show. Don't miss out on this jewel of a property.

Some girlfriends and I went on a girls trip and fortunately for us this is the place we chose to stay. It had all of the modern conveniences that make it extremely comfortable yet is in the middle of land surrounded by grazing cows, which made it so perfectly Texas. It was very well stocked and over the top, comfortable beds and well furnished bathrooms. We absolutely loved it and would definitely choose this place again if we make another trip to round top.

Weekend of Relaxing Fun
We had a wonderful weekend enjoying this wonderful barndominium as a group of 3 couples. The big patio, firepit, fresh air, nicely decorated home and the well stocked kitchen made for an awesome weekend! Property manager was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely be back!!

Girls trip to visit Round Top
Cherry was an amazing host. She responded promptly to any questions I had and left us a delicious apple pie. The location is ideal for a trip to visit Round Top. The Barndominium was great - very spacious. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels for all 8 of us. Loved waking up to the baby cows outside the fence and the great back porch. Would definitely stay there again.

VERY VERY COOL
Perhaps the most attractively and intelligently conceived VRBO I've ever had the pleasure of renting. Immaculate, well appointed, comfortable beds, eager to please hosts, and atmospheric. Welcome quiet after chaos of Round TTop Market.... just us, the hot tub and the cows. This property is underestimated in the listing

Girls' Getaway
We stayed at the L Star Ranch for a Girls' Getaway weekend and loved every minute. Our hosts were so communicative and accomodating. They were truly nice, helpful people whether we were asking for recommendations on things to do nearby or we needed to stretch our check out time a little bit. I got to meet John when I arrived as he was working on the ladders for the lofts and bunks so they would be more comfortable to climb up - and it was so appreciated.
The beds were all incredibly comfortable 2 Kings in separate rooms, full size bunks in another room and twin bunks in the attic/loft. We thought the loft might be a little too warm, but once we were ready for bed both ladies in their slept very comfortably. And the couch! So comfy and perfect for hanging out with our group.
We had access to everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals and enjoy around the large island. Bathrooms were super clean.
Overall, we had such an amazing time and comfortable stay! Highly recommend!

Great for Antique Week
We stayed at this lovely property for a girls trip. We absolutely loved sitting out on the porch and looking out over the land, and the cows. So much so that we did that more than shopping. We found that we really enjoyed it, and same
For coffee in the morning. The house was very accommodating for the four of us. No complaints. We all agreed the beds were very comfortable, And the bedding was very nice. We did attend the Junk Gypsy prom, and appreciated that this location was not too far to drive. It does get dark in the country, no lights, so it's nice not to have to drive too far. Only thing that was a little bit of a bummer for my friends was that they were packing their swimsuits and looking forward to gettin in the heated pool. Turns out the heater was not working in the pool so we didn't get to use it. But everything was great.

Soooo peaceful!!
Such a cute little (but sufficient) barndominium! We enjoyed appetizers and drinks on the big porch….overlooking the trees. The space for perfect for our Roundtop friends trip…. They even left us a card table for our nightly MahJong games. Very unique, peaceful and not too far from Roundtop:)
